Big day today. I get my Covid booster. I didn’t really have any effects of the regular shot. Really the only thing I’ve had reactions to is Shingles. And that kicked my ass. My daughter as we know goes to Syracuse and the entire Cross Country team got Covid including all my daughers roommates. Naturally she has gotten tested every day. To the point where the nurses before every check tell here they are going to assume she’s positive because her contact score is off the charts since she lives with 2 covid people. I realize the new variant means just because you had it doesn’t mean you’re good. But my daughter got really sick during the very first wave in NY. The second place after Seattle. That and the vaccine and she felt pretty covered. Well for the last 5 days shes been getting tested and she’s come back negative. This is a girl that didn’t miss a day of school for sickness for 12 straight years so whoever her Dad is she got great genes. Because she’s fighting off the big boy. At least so far. They actualy will be off quarantine Tuesday which doesn’t mean they aren’t contagious but every day they’re less. We’ll see. Hoping my booster gives me the same Superpower.
