Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday, July 6th, 2022

I’m sure many traditional domain investors are wondering why in the world dot eth names are going for more than many dot coms. When they appear to have less utility are essentially brand new. It’s simple. Ease of buying and making offers. You can make an offer instantly on any name you want. Add to the frenzy is Twitter. They buzz about ENS names all day. Especially when a few sell. It does have utility. As a person that uses his wallet every day, several times a day. Sending to a short ENS is much safer and easier than a long numeric wallet address.

I want to point out that I am only a long term holder of dot eth name of the best names. Some short numerics and solid keywords. I am not working the fringes because they are like traditional domains but much much more risky. The two word and obscure are 99.9% never going to sell. They are really cheap to buy but can add up. There has been a ton of money to be had considering 4N.eth names could be hand regged 2 months ago for $10 and now the floor is 2 eth. Could have five figures pretty easily. Which I did. Just wish I would have bought 10X what I did. Didn’t believe in it enough. Again, always the story. Scared money don’t make no money

Domain of the Day: Frijoles.com Even most non Spanish speakers know this is the word for beans

Quote of the Day: “Dating a stripper is like eating a noisy pack of chips in church. Everybody looks down at you in disgust but deep down they want some too.” – from the website of an upstate New York strip club

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
