The Parking Place Addresses One Of My Biggest Beefs

Took last week off to spend some quality time with friends and family. I had my best friend of 15 years come into town to spend the holiday week hanging out and it was a great time. But it’s back to the grind for me today and most Americans after the holiday weekend.

I received an email last week and was pleased to see that new parking company The Parking Place has addressed one of the biggest problems I found with their platform. As I stated a couple of weeks ago, I moved my domains to The Parking Place after seeing some good reviews. While I have decided to move my domains away from traditional parking altogether to try something different, I figured I’d still report that The Parking Place now allows a ‘Domain For Sale’ link on their parked pages. The following is an excerpt from the email…

“Another great addition to our system is the ability to list your domains for sale. Our system will simply add a link at the bottom of the existing lander, which will allow visitors to contact you about purchasing your domains. There is no fee for this feature, but you must enable it first.”

As I had previously stated, one of my biggest beefs with The Parking Place was that there was no way to inform visitors to a parked domain on their platform that the domain was for sale. Obviously the point of owning domains that are simply parked is to make a little bit of revenue off of them, but more importantly to sell them in the long run. This addition to their system addresses and fixes that issue.

I’m glad to see this and think it will be a great addition to all users on their system. I’m sure this change was in the works before I mentioned it on the blog but I’m also sure that the change came as a result of others expressing the same types of concerns that I had. Any company that listens to their clients and implements changes based on their feedback is alright by me.

  1. @Lennard….that’s just another parking page. That does not seem to be anything like TheParkingPlace.com.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks.

  2. @Robert Cline yes it is but it also has a very big this domain is for sale in the top right hand corner with my email address and phone number. Thats the difference to a sedo parked page.

  3. Anyone know of any sites using TheParkingPlace or if they have template examples on their site for one to view?
