Shane’s List of Domains at Auction for Monday, May 26th, 2025

It’s kind of like talking about Fight Club, people are afraid it will go away, but the Chase Business Ink card gives 5% back on GoDaddy purchases, up to $25,000 per year. Getting 2% is easy. There are quite a few like Capital One Spark, Citi Double Cash, Amex Blue Business Cash. All which give unlimited 2% back.

For larger domain investors, the $25K cap goes fast, but that’s $1,250 in free money and 3% better than most credit cards. Anyone earning less than 2% cash back isn’t managing their credit cards properly.

If I were one of these registrars, I’d actually offer 1% or even 2% back for using stablecoin crypto, just to help offset credit card fees. GoDaddy could save millions by accepting crypto and offering a rebate for using it. Stablecoin is cheap and, as the name says, stable.

What are some credit cards you use that give good cash back for registrar or domain-related spending?

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.* All names chosen by us. (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
