Shane’s List of Domains at Auction for Monday, October 6th, 2025

The last four weeks have been bone dry for domain sales. I had a few sales early in September but nothing since. I also turned off Boost on Afternic, and I’m not sure if that affected leads, but Afternic has been dead in the water for me. Literally no offers, when I had several the month before.

I know this is part of domain investing, and I also realize I only have about 700 domains—but they’re better than average. Not full of hand regs or lottery tickets. I have a few, but for the most part they’re $1K to $5K auction purchases. I know it’s only a matter of time, and I still have $20K in income per month for another year. Of course, it’s going to suck when that ends unless I get the sales to make up for it. I also want to get my portfolio up to 1,000 names, but that will take sales. In short, I have this flywheel that’s driven by sales, and right now I’m missing the sales part.

I think I’ll turn Boost back on and lower a few prices to get things moving if nothing happens in October. I’m also going to go through every domain and make sure everything is optimized—landers, pricing, and accounting. I’ve been doing a much better job this year than normal. Atom has performed very well, but Afternic has been horrible. To be fair, Atom has the better landers, but all my names are listed on Afternic, so the search discovery should have produced results. Again, patience is part of domain investing, but after a month, the questions start creeping in.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.* All names chosen by us. (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.

  1. We have boost on and it’s been extremely slow the past three weeks at Afternic. It started when their landers were taking 15-20 seconds to load and never recovered after that. They didn’t do the weekly LTO payouts yesterday like they were supposed to. Something seems off with them.
