Japan’s Kansai International Airport, which opened in 1994, announced that it has NEVER lost a bag. 30 million people plus go through that airport every year, and they have not lost one bag. While I’m not sure it’s really zero, but no doubt it’s much less than most major airports. The Japanese have been known for quality for a long time, and in the 80s everyone was teaching the Kaizen way of the Japanese. Japan has been surpassed by Korea in tech production but the “rules” of Kaizen are still great guidelines on how to approach your work and life. Here are the basic 10
Let go of assumptions
Question how things have always been done. Most inefficiencies hide in “this is just how we do it.”
Be proactive about solving problems
Don’t wait for perfect conditions. Fix what’s in front of you.
Reject the status quo
Good enough usually isn’t. Improvement starts when you’re slightly dissatisfied.
Look for simple solutions
The best fix is often the easiest one, not the most complex.
Fix mistakes immediately
Small issues compound fast. Address them at the source.
Use creativity over capital
Don’t throw money at problems first. Think your way through them.
Identify root causes
Ask “why” multiple times until you hit the real issue, not just symptoms.
Get input from everyone
The people closest to the work usually have the best insights.
Keep improving continuously
This isn’t a one-time fix. It’s a daily mindset.
Never stop learning
Improvement depends on curiosity and openness to better ways.
I learned them in business class and still keep them in my drawer as a reminder. I think everyone could use these as a reminder.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.* All names chosen by us. (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
