Thursday’s Big List of Domains at Auction or Dropping Around Town 4-19-12

These guys are kicking it.  More and more names coming up for auction and noticing that less names are getting “kicked back” after I buy them.  Lost one last week but I wasn’t all that excited about winning any way.  By kicked back I mean the original owner renewed the name after I won the auction.  The original owner has a few days to renew the name in between the end of the auction and the final possible day redemption.  You domainers contact the hell out him on the good names trying to get it cheaper than the final auction price and therefore the names that get renewed (and then probably sold).  Here are today’s names at auction.

8714.com May end up going for a little extra because there haven’t been very many NNNN.coms at auction lately.

Orama.com  Can be used for so many things as it means greater than usual number or an island off New Zealand.  Also a terrible typo for Obama. 1996 birthday

XRZ.com  Under $5K and no reserve

eBLT.com Looking for the online BLT market to explode. If not you still have a pretty good LLLL.com

Yaga.com  Going to break $10K in my opinion.  My favorite domain of the week.

BeefJerkeyPotatoChips.com  These aren’t flavored but actual meat and potatoes and are possibly the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten.

RateMyMusic.com These kind of names seem to do well except it has no bidders so I could be wrong here.

WebsitePerformance.com  Surprised this one dropped

BarelyYours.com  I realize its not a fantastic name but I love the name anyway.  Sums up the assets of most Americans in today’s world.

PrevailingWages.com  I find myself constantly looking for prevailing wage rates for city jobs. It would be nice to find them all in one place.

TeflonTape.com  Another thing I use daily in my irrigation.  All threaded fittings in plumbing get teflon tape according to local rules

TopLeadGenerator.com I thought for sure I was going to steal this one and now I’m guaranteeing I won’t. Lead Generation industry is huge

DiamondContactLenses.com  Perhaps the stupidest thing I’ve heard of heard of but according to this people are actually buying these things

Special thanks to DropDay and Escrow.com for making this list possible. Don’t get lost in the crowd. If you have a name up for auction and would like to feature it here on the list. Drop me a line.

Was just sitting there. Seems more practical.
