Mark had a great little tidbit on buying domains yesterday. He talks about people being cheap and missing the huge opportunity of putting in a little extra money and buying quality domains rather than a little each time on junk. We don’t keep score in the industry with the numbers of domain but rather on how much money you make. A simple business model but 80% don’t get it. Here are today’s names and the daily quote.
“I’m on the road to riches, it’s just a lil traffic” -Lil Wayne, Lil’ Weezy, Junior Birdman.
sh8.com I really liked the name but at this price I’m not sure
ManagingYourMoney.com 15 years old. Great money management name but I guess that was obvious. Under $1000 which is still a decent price IMO
LAFish.com Pretty sure there are fish sellers in LA
DayShipper.com One day shipping is becoming more and more common. No bidders
FNBE.com Great letters across the board. Under a $100 is a steal….IMO of course
IDDM.com And another
HowToTradeOptions.com HUGE CPC and no bidders
BotX.com Much better than BotW
GetTheFun.com I too want to get the fun. And it will be cheap because there are no bidders on this 11 year old domain
ImproveYourAds.com With the users eyes becoming blind I would think this one would be of value. No bidders
$2.49 .COM at GoDaddy.com! Expires 5/14/13.
VisualTech.com Sounds so modern. 17 years old
Razza.com Last name or just a good sounding 5L.com
NYBands.com No bidders. Last time I checked NY has a pretty good music scene
SkiChile.com Oscar should build this one out. Yes you can ski in Chile
11173.com Need to do a little homework on this one. Already at $500
My ears were ringing.
I have read and liked your blog for quite a while but what really impressed me was when you bought 2 domains from me some time back and turned them both over for about double what you paid within a few weeks. I vowed to never sell you another domain, lol…
It’s obvious you work hard but you also have that little added bonus of working smart, I’m taking notes…
Thanks for sharing Shane! At first, I was wondering who Mark was! His article and insight is great. Wheeling and Dealing web properties and domains will be around for years, its not too late, in fact we are still very early! Just the price points will change. Over the past 5 months I have noticed a massive increase of Domainers. I am getting emails from people around the world trying to make moves.
