My entire running team ran Boston yesterday and killed it.  The boys all ran under 3:13 and our group is all 46-55 years old.   The girls all ran under 3:25.  I didn’t run again this year for a few reasons.  One, I didn’t run my 3:11 until after the date required, and two, because there was just too much emotion involved in the race.  I run for fun.  There was too much negative energy left over from last years terrible event.  It wasn’t the Boston marathon, the race where the best of the best come to compete but rather the “Boston Strong” marathon where people show their perserverance.  From what I here it was still an amazing event, I just enjoyed being a spectator this year.  In the meantime, I’m setting up to crush Chicago in the fall.  Now taking names for Friday’s BOOK of 10.  Names will be featured at the top of Domaining.com and sent to their 18,000 newsletter subscribers.  And posted here as well. Has been at least one name sell from the list every week so far.  $35 a name, discount for 2 or more (and yes that is Bob Parsons and me on the homepage pic)

Let’s start by looking at the results from yesterday’s list

I thought the buyer of LNVO got a pretty good buy and the LLN.coms went exactly where I thought they would .  The rest fit into “not surprised but not predicted” category because I really had no idea what they’d sell for.  It’s why I study these things every day.  Because I may not know exactly the sales price, I am at least starting to get the ranges down.  Now on to today’s picks.

DCD.net   The kind of dot nets the Chinese like.  Visually stimulating.  16 years old

OF.org  One of the best dot orgs up for auction in a while

433.net  If this is worth 10% of the dot com then it’s value is between 4 and 5K

PHTT.com   11 years old.  All good letters.  You even get two Ts for the same price

6446.net  Using the same value as 433 I would put this at 5-$600

SpeedyOil.com  Upgrade name for a few oil change places

RVHookups.com  People with RV are always searching for hookups for their rolling houses.  Only one bidder

NEW!!!! Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day.. $2.95 new registration Dot Com KIRSTY295

MuyMal.com  Very bad in Spanish.  Plenty of bad things to talk about

DesignArt.com   Hard to find two words that go together better than these

UH2.com  Because some LLN.com are better than others

Miney.com  Solid name for Bitcoin mining

472.com  Last chance.   These only go up from here

ABFC.com   C for corporation

Kick.tv  Deserves more than 5 bids IMO

Have a name at auction and need more exposure. Send me an email. We may be able to help.  *All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission (click through and purchase a name you like) or paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct.

  1. Hello Shane,

Good luck with the new blog, I like the layout. You’ve always replied whenever I have asked a question of you, and I know how busy you are.

    Top man.

  2. Thanks Anthony. General consensus is people like the new layout. I try my best to answer all my email. It gets tough when I get busy but I’ve met most of my domain friends initially through email. Take care

  3. Hi Shane, I like the new design too. Very clean and lots of white space. Just one question. Now that you have two writer, can you increase the font size of the writer’s name at the top so I know immediately whose work I’m going to read. Or, just put the photo to the top. Thanks.

  4. Nice change here. You have movement which is the essence of things. Like it. Proves that life moves on and so does creativity. Like it. You get it! You responded to staleness. Well done… will continue to frequent your blog. Really great. \
