Big weekend for me. Having a Fall Festival at the nursery on Saturday which is our biggest event of the year and then I have this little race on Sunday called the Chicago marathon. Due to the events there won’t be a list on Sunday but if I don’t kill myself I should be back on Monday. Wish me luck, it won’t make me run any faster but at least I know you care. Feel free to track me but remember it can go any way. I could run well or I could blow up and have to walk the finish. It’s racing. You go for as long as you can. Some times that’s all 26.2 miles and other times it’s a little shorter. But it’s always been about the journey. The race is just a way to measure the effort and the training. The real fun is over.
