DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Saturday 10/11

Escrow.com

Big weekend for me.  Having a Fall Festival at the nursery on Saturday which is our biggest event of the year and then I have this little race on Sunday called the Chicago marathon.  Due to the events there won’t be a list on Sunday but if I don’t kill myself I should be back on Monday.  Wish me luck, it won’t make me run any faster but at least I know you care.  Feel free to track me but remember it can go any way.  I could run well or I could blow up and have to walk the finish.  It’s racing.  You go for as long as you can. Some times that’s all 26.2 miles and other times it’s a little shorter. But it’s always been about the journey.  The race is just a way to measure the effort and the training.  The real fun is over.  Except the 300o calorie meal a little later in the afternoon.  Have a good day. Here are today’s names.

FeelTheSun.com   17 years old. No bidders.  Good marketing name for beach travel

HerbMedicine.com   Doesn’t work but the domain does.  16 years old

Rettinger.com  You want to own popular last names.  People name their stuff after themselves.

Stricto.com  I’ve always done pretty well buying name and adding o to the end.  But I get them cheap. Not many bidders here

DCFW.com  W for worldwide.  11 years old

J1F.com  Under the $250 average price

UORP.com 9 years old.  Under $100 at press time

CompFly.com  No bidders.  Love the name for airline ticket finder.

TheCanopy.com  You know I like “the” names.  A few others do too unfortunately

Detect.com   Can be used for so many things.  18 years old and getting some love

FarmsForSale.com  At first I think of the price being high.  Then I think of how good this looks on your signs.  Worth 4 times for a large REIT with a large marketing budget  (oops….ended last night)

Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day. $10 off PURCHASES OF $50 OR MORE ACOSKS65

Jonix.com    l like old 5L.coms.   6 other bidders agree.  18 years old

Surfboard.net   Net or not, heck of a name

RGM.com   Great letters which means it’s probably going to be a great price

TheRunnerStore.com  I’ll be visiting a few today.  No bidders

 YunMa.com  Chinese.  Just buy it

3533.net  Best dot net on the board today. Maybe all week

CAX DOMAIN OF THE DAY: Slippers.co    At auction.   Most people own a pair.  Heck, the kids are wearing them to school now

IN CASE YOU MISSED YESTERDAY’S BOOK OF 10 HERE THEY ARE

Drones.net What can I say. There is not a hotter market right now than drones. Not bitcoin, not 3Dprinting. Would not be surprised to see this hit 5 figures

Bouquets.info I was in the audience when Bill McClure bought Bouquet.com for $30,000. This one is only at $20. I think the gap in price will be filled.

Registration.info Reserve met. High bidder gets it. 30 million searches for the term. Look who owns the other major TLDs and you’ll see the big boys know the value of the Keyword

LearnChineseMandarin.com Reserve Met. The most spoken language in the world. $4.5 CPC and an estimated 100 million people learning the language. All for under $100 at press time

URLE.com and a Portfolio of 282 domains No Reserve. Estibot value of $372,000. Handier.com, RollingHome.com, Sugarsmith.com. Lots of brands in the list. At $1.50 a name at present bid

SepticTanks.net AND 9 Other Dot Nets The singular dot com of septictanks.com alone went unsold at $1500. The plural is better in my opinion and at 10% this should be $200 or more. The reserve is met at $6 so this could be a steal for a buyer. The other 9 dot nets are so bad either. Steppers.net being my favorite.

Witches.org Reserve met. 16 years old and a PR2. Perfect name for this time of year. For decades witch costumes have been the best sellers at Halloween. Can make money back fairly easily with a Amazon Affiliate site

Sadness.com 16 years old. Reserve met. I like the owners idea of using Sadness as a site to bring people from sadness to happiness. You know what I like better? The 1000 type ins a month.

OZIA.org No bidders. 240,000 results in Google. Already people, places and things using this name.

MOOC.co.uk Owner gets rights to dot UK as well. Massive Open Online Course are the future and all the rage. Has already received several offers for the domain.

Leis.org No reserve, going to sell. Only at $1. If you go to Hawaii you almost always get or buy one of these. Also the start of many a dirty joke. 22,000 monthly searches with an Estibot of $8K.

LacrosseCleats.com No reserve. Bidding starts at $1. You could get this name cheaper than an actual pair of cleats. 9 years old with an Estibot of $4100

Dowo.com $8K I have an offer at $7K. Going to try and get a little more out of it if anyone wants it. Email me if interested.
