The screenshots below are examples of buyers of domains from the last few months that have either developed their sites, or purchased an upgrade domain and have redirected their acquisition to an existing website.
Degree.me sold for $11,500 at Domaining.me, and the owner is AcademixDirect, Inc. The site is branded as Degree Path, yet DegreePath.com has a for-sale lander. Looks like an educational lead-gen site, “a free resource that assists in matching you with top higher learning institutions“.
Trybe.com sold for $11,000 at Sedo, and the placeholder says, “Trybe, LLC is the parent company for Gigmor, a musician matching site”.
Rapunzel.dk sold for $10,600 at Sedo, and the domain is an upgrade from RapunzelOfSweden.dk, which is where their purchase is redirected. A hair extension company, “Rapunzel® of Sweden is one of Scandinavia’s leading hair extension companies.”
MyWeddingDress.com sold for $9,950 at Sedo, and a wedding dress site is live, “A very clean and straight forward tool for brides that makes it easy to choose the right wedding dress.”
CheveuxBeaute.com sold for $7,999 at Sedo, and according to Google Translate, “CheveuxBeaute.com is an expert hairdressing site offering diagnosis, counseling, products & professional services for the general public.“
FullAuto.com sold for $7,999 at Sedo, and the domain is an upgrade from FullAutoSoftware.net.
TrueBrands.com sold for $7,500 at Sedo, and the domain redirects to TrueFabrications.com. “True Fabrications is the leading wine lifestyle brand and marketer for thousands of wine retailers around the world.“
123Option.com sold for $5,500 at Sedo, and a new trading site is in the works, “At 123 Option, our goal is simple: we aim to offer the best trading experience available on the web. “
PhotoPoint.com sold for $5,500 at Sedo, and a photo site is on the way, “Share your travel photography and help others learn how, when and where.”
I really like the upgrade to FullAuto.com. Way better than that .net they had. 8k is not a bad price for it either imo.
I agree. Their website still isn’t too sexy, but at least they have a nicer domain than before…..
