Escrow.com

A friend recently turned me on to the philosopher Søren Kierkegaard.  To learn to add a “leap of faith” to my decision making.  As I grow older I find myself caring less and less about how I compare to others.  I make educated decisions based on my research, the advice of those I feel have experience in the area, and friends and family.   It’s not that I think I’m better than others. Quite the opposite.  I realize there will always be someone better, faster, smarter, or richer.  And at the same time I will have more of each than someone else.  In my opinion, to dwell on the comparison of myself and my results to others doesn’t help me improve.  I now care about how I am doing compared to my own goals and benchmarks.  I’ve learned to set those at realistic levels.  I don’t set them so low that I easily beat them, nor too high so that I am always driving for more.  And other times I just have to try.  To have that leap of faith when no data or past experience shows that I will succeed.  You just have to try.   Here is a writing that lead me towards those thoughts.

“The one human being compares himself with others, the one generation compares itself with the other, and thus the heaped up pile of comparisons overwhelms a person. As the ingenuity and busyness increase, there come to be more and more in each generation who slavishly work a whole lifetime far down in the low underground regions of comparisons. Indeed, just as miners never see the light of day, so these unhappy people never come to see the light: those uplifting, simple thoughts, those first thoughts about how glorious it is to be a human being. And up there in the higher regions of comparison, smiling vanity plays its false game and deceives the happy ones so that they receive no impression from those lofty, simple thoughts, those first thoughts.”

Sorry for the deep thoughts but it was on my mind as I wrote my list today so I thought I would share. Here are today’s names buy a few please.   I could use a new pair of running shoes.

And don’t forget about the final Namepros Auction of LLLL.coms today.  Best part of the 3 auctions

HodgePodge.com 20 years old. Awesome name that actually means a mix of anything and everything

IEIE.com  Certainly easy to remember.  19 years old.

NYBB.com  Would be very surprised if this doesn’t hit four figures. Not even close right now.  18 years old

3EW.com  Like all NLL.com its doing well.  Over under $825

V61.com  The V holds it back a little but still is worth $500 or more IMO

Embarrass.com   It’s listed at $1500 with no bidders.  I think that it may be worth that price.  Almost pulled the trigger myself.  Just not sure anyone knows how to spell it

999539.com   Throw the triple at the end and it would be at four figures.  Still doing very well

KWJW.com  The every other same letter thing has really been doing well. I don’t think I explained it very well but you know what I mean

MTRG.com  2nd highest price in the LLLL.com category today

ZombieKit.com   One bidder at $12.  And the term has 5 million results on Google.  Its a thing

DrawForYou.com   Reminds me of the guy that will draw a cat or something like that.

BookMySeat.com  I feel like I’ve already seen a commercial for this site.  Which means its a good name

Wed.me  Good use of the .me ending.  And everyone gets wed a few times in their life

Find more Godaddy Auction names HERE. I don’t list them ALL

WorldClock.com Amazingly gets 54,000 visits per month according to the seller.  That would explain the great price and all the bids

0K.com  Zero K. And you’ll have to say that every time.  But very short and a great looking name

FIQA.com  CVCV.com is always worth four figures. And this is actually a website

Spewing.com   I’ll give you a slogan to go with the name “You gotta go with the flow”

Furniture.io    I like this one.  I know someone that sold a furniture and design site for one million dollars.

Cannabis.net  A website as well.  Surprised at the price

PDZ.com  Flew past the reserve immediately

AACF.com   Met reserve quickly because it was under $100

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM

PMSC.com  You have to list all 20 year old LLLL.coms

OldHouse.com Some times its good, some times its bad.  Old name too

ABGM.com   Nice English acronym.  M for management

CrossBikes.com Not sure if cyclocross has their own bikes or not.  3 bidders think they do

StreetPhotography.com  I love pictures of the street.  All the lines and stuff

VirtualDevelopment.com   Somebody needs to develop things for virtual reality

  1. Looking at the bid history of Cannabis.net it looks more then fishy. Only two bidders who coincidentally bid in very very close time proximity to each other. I bet you neither their bidding will stop just below what the reserve price is.

  2. Great philosophical thought there. Just like Max Ehrmann puts it “If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements …”
    Thank you for sharing.
