DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Auction Picks: Saturday, October 31st, 2015

Escrow.com

Hype.  I just found out why all the LLLL.coms and numerics have risen over the last year.  Turns out its not real Chinese money.  It’s not an economy of people looking for somewhere to put their money.  No its a few bloggers and celebrity domain investors hyping an entire market.  We’re single handily pushing a 300 million plus market through our words.  It’s a good thing I read a lot about domains or I would have though there was some real economics behind all this.  And to think that I’ve been buying all these stupid LLLL.coms since January and had a chance to make some real money.  What a waste of time.  Stupid hype!!!!!  <<<<———-sarcasm.  Here are today’s names.  Click for current prices.

Freeze.org   Not sure who is going to use this but well known word and 19 years old

Hung.org   Well.  Lots of dick jokes possible here but I’ll just say that they had to move me out of this organization.  Moved un to wellhung.org.  No bidders

Muffler.net  Is that how bad its gotten.  One bidder at $12 for something every car has

C5S.com Yet this is up to $500.  Love this market

Toni.net  Worth a few hundred just as a personal email

DWDC.com  Nobody is going to hit the opening bid now but in my opinion there will be a day soon that it will look like a steal

VLVV.com  Vs are bad, unless there are three and then its good

8RB.com  Bids already over four figures.  8s will do that

NJQQ.com  This is the kind of name that non Chinese domain lovers don’t understand.  And yet look at the price

QQHP.com  Going to test my theory that repeating letters are better on the backside than the front

VDRT.com  The good thing about the V + premium letter 4L.coms is that they have a defined value right now

XPZX.com  Big X fan.  Good looking letter.  And having it flank my LLLL.com is just a bonus

Couponville.com  This would have been four figures at one point. Now no bidders

BrushMore.com  No bidders.  Nice dental name for $12

633332.com  A lot of threes.  The repeaters bring good money.  Even in the 6Ns

64511.com Even with a 4 it’s this damn high.  Unbelievable……..and awesome

ZZSE.com  Terrible English acronym.  So that must mean its worthless

998979.com  I’m a bidder here.  I’m hoping I can buy it and split it into to NNN.coms 998.com and 979.com.  Wish me luck

LPZ.cc   I am on the buy side of LLL.cc and NNNN.cc   Dot CC stands for Chinese Currency (made that up)

JNJJ.net  4L.nets are close to a buyout as well.

8558.co  If you are going to but a NNNN.co this is a might damn good one

833.mobi  Now this is F’n ridiculous.  When dot mobi is getting bids then I may need to get out 🙂

Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 – Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)

CreditTips.com  Begging for a buildout.  High CPC to work with

DOYA.com  Boy have CVCV.com taken a back seat.  But there may be some good buys now

ZUHO.com  Another one here

1847.com   Big name, new seller.

RugbyMagazine.com   Reserve met. I love Sevens

Portfolio of 14 LLLL.coms   All low end but if price is right it, quality isn’t a concern.  All boats

SNYY.com  Met reserve.   People are lovin the Ys

DSC.cc   This one has crossed the $1K mark

SSB.org  Great great letters for an acronym for an English language company

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM

IJRZ.com  One vowel, the rest premium.   Let’s start the bidding at $250

GUKZ.com    This would have been sold as pronounceable.  Now it’s just being sold as an LLLL.com because that’s good enough

NinjaDesign.com   All design names are good.  Everyone loves ninjas.  Put them together and…..you get 11 bidders

FZVN.com  Another V name but as I always said.  Some of the best to buy because the prices are consistent

JVZW.com Looks like a terrible group of letters.  Which we all know means awesome

LXES.com   A not even close typo of Lexus.

OV.com  These two letter dot com domains are just a get rich quick scam.  Don’t buy it

TheCapital.com   Old name. Ready to be a book or a movie, or both

JAMI.com  So many things.  A badly spelled Jamie or a CVCV

Utilizing.com  I don’t like the ing names but they always seem to do well so what do I know

TurmericPowder.com   2 million results for this “Queen of Spices”.  They say it cures all kinds of things.  14 years old

SmartBBQ.com  Eventually tech will be part of BBQ

Fenor.com   5L.com and people, places and things.   Can’t go wrong with a pronounceable 5L.com under $100 IMO

ChinaTrips.com  Travel to China will increase 10 fold in the near future.  Big place, lots of people, we all need to go

BackSafety.com  THE biggest insurance claims.  Back safety is overlooked and if you take it away, injury costs would go down.  It’s also where all the fraud is.  No bidders.  15 years old

PCTS.com  Nice Chinese AND English acronym

PXC.net  The kind the crazy hype people are buying.  But don’t buy the hype. Put it into the stock market. No fun and games going on there

QDDR.com  Not many bidders considering this is a CHIP.  You think my hype statement above already scared people off?

Comment.net  A lot of buildout possibilities for this one.  Keyword overcomes tld

XUUP.com  I have always talked about liking the double vowel LLLL.coms.  Well now vowels aren’t cool. But you know what? I don’t care. I still like them

8881216.com   I’ll just leave this here

  1. Hey shane ,the interview in sherpa, was a little unclear.Besides chips and quads what domains what type of v or vowel domains are you looking for in the 3-350 area. I can pick through my lot to see if I have any.

    1. Ben,

I am not really looking for V names. I picked them up because they were part of portfolios that had CHIPS in them. I am looking for vowels if they make good English acronyms. I have always been buying those. They’re just cheaper now because everyone is concentrating on CHIPS. I think they are getting overlooked.
