DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s List of Domains at Auction for Tigweld Tuesday the 24th

Escrow.com

R.E.L.A.X   In the words of the droopy eyed ball slinger and the master of the discount Double Check, Aaron Rodgers, don’t worry about leveling off pricing of LLLL.com Chinese premiums.  People are coming out of the woodwork to say that they’ve peaked, that they are leveling off on their way to going back up, and countless other statements.   The truth is nothing has changed.  LLLL.coms were undervalued and still are.  Oliver Holger wrote a piece that agreed with that sentiment right here on the old DSAD.    Where did he say they’re going…..that’s right $2500.  And that’s where we got to.  They’ve settled into $2000 right now but we’re exactly in the range he said we’d be.  Prices can’t go straight up forever.  At some point they take a rest while inventory and demand come together.  Supply is greater than demand right now yet its still holding at $2K.  My opinion and my opinion only is that the investors will swallow this latest inventory being introduced and we’ll see upward movement again.  There is a lot of pressure to take profits right now.  Especially when it moves down like this.  Its natural market reaction to sell trying to save profits as prices fall. Adding to the downward slide.  Don’t do anything based on what I am doing.  I am selling my lower quality names and keeping the better names.  Booking profits as I go and saving the big names for much larger profits down the road…At least that’s the hope.  Here are today’s names. Click for current prices.
.
NetMaker.com  20 years old.  I imagine it will be used for some platform building tool rather than the basketball net building tool I hoped it would be. 29 bidders
.
Trap.net   18 years old.  I like it because its short but conflicted because I don’t know what in the hell you’d do with it.  Kind of like that crystal Eagle your uncle got you a few Christmases ago
.
Skeet.net  Oh skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet, ohhh skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet.  Window………… to the wall
.
Refurbished.org   Like this one a lot.  Most of the electronics I buy are refurbished.  I think they’ll do an even better job the second time
.
NYNY.net Too bad there’s that red line (reserve).  One of my favorite on the list today.  I am a bidder
.
ZCXC.com   Closes today.  My name.  I may lower the reserve since the prices have come down a little.
.
VZDK.com  Also mine.  I have been selling off some V names and putting them into pattern 5L.coms like AACBB.  We’ll see how they do comparatively in a year.  Knowing my luck the V names will skyrocket
.
YNKA.com  K is not as great in English but German and Russian it is great.  Is your portfolio ready for the great Russian Domain Invasion?
.
87571.com  Great 5N.com  You would be lucky to own it.
.
X2X2.com  I love these types of names.  Very memorable.  And the kind you absolutely can build a brand around IMO
.
DRJK.com  Ends today.  Has to be getting close to reserve so hopefully it will sell
.
LTCY.com  Would be a deal at its current price ($2000)
.
GFTX.com   Go Fu#k Texas.  That’s probably not the driver.  I’m guessing China.  They sure love things to end in X
.
262266.com   Only 2s and 6s.   And that’s a good thing judging by the price
.
MTHHH.com  This is the kind I’m buying.  Getting pretty high, pretty quick.  Of course I’m not helping myself by listing it but its not you I’m bidding against most of the time
.
STCZ.net  CHIP dot nets have come down in price quite a bit this last 7 days but they were a little high.  They should be at 5% of the dot com IMO.  No higher
.
638M.com   The NNNL.com names have moved up into the $50 price range for normal quality
.
895K.com   This is one of the better names.
.
A few others today worth watching 793N, 638M, 657Q, 539B, 729M, 529H, 795D, 797M, 679W
.
WinTheFight.org  Very nice cancer fighting name.   Any disease or setback actually (not saying cancer is a setback)
.
NZCM.com  Only one bidder at $250
.
J877.com  Funny how JS877 would go for $500 plus and this one is under $25  #knowwhyitsworthless

PF95.com  Gets 88 visits per month.  These LLNN are starting to get bids this last week
.
JXIX.com  I like it more than the $205 price.  I’d be all over it but I don’t like J domains.  Ironic because I like the letter, just not in my domains.  Kind of like how I love French Toast but get a little meat juice on my bread and I throw it away.  Doesn’t make any sense
.
GDGN.com  Ends tomorrow but I want to buy it now
.
22485.com   The 4 makes it affordable.  All boats rise when the dam breaks.  Of course it takes you 8 miles down river and you have to catch a ride back and figure out how to get your boat back…..so be careful
.
Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 – Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)
.
Merchants.org  Merchant Service aka credit card processors are a multi billion dollar business
.
LWSP.com  Nice CHIP and reserve is met. So its go time
.
MGGJ.com   Another nice chip but this owner wants a little more than the person above
.
BNKC.com  I like the ones that end in C.   Owner looks like he may have a crush on his own domain
.
DWWJ.com The double Ws are getting a nice price.  Reserve met. Good day for Flippa Chips
.
JTG.com   Only one bidder but met reserve
.
RTNR.com  This would have been worth a lot even 10 years ago  #oldschoolcool
FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM
.
ScreenMaker.com  19 years old.  Only 3 bidders.  Probably deserves more than three bids
.
DustyBaker.com  New manager of the Nationals.  Old Manager of the Cubs. 19 years old
.
TheFonts.com   There is still money in selling fonts. I actually bought a few for a project not too long ago
.
AAYY.com   The ultimate pattern for a LLLL.com.   The AA is great for Western but won’t get premium Chinese price
.
RE.net  I have bought and sold a few LL.net.  But not recently because now I can’t afford them
.
OOLH.com  Mostly Western LLLL.coms on Namejet today.  This is one of my favorite
.
OPFB.com   More good letters here.   There are hundreds more today but most are lower end LLLL.coms.  All worth owning in my opinion but too many to list
.
381981.com  I like the 81 pattern.
.
OrganicPets.com  I have NO idea what an organic pet is but I am smart enough to know everyone goes crazy for organic and pet names.  Together = Gold
.

  1. I’ve sold 55 llll .com’s on namejet in the last 2 weeks. All with vowels or V and all at no reserve. During that time prices went up from $180-220 at the beginning t o about $300-375 as of yesterday when the last one sold. So as the Chips leveled off the lower quality shot up. I think the spread between them was too big. When the lower quality names get up to a certain point chips will start to go up again.

  2. Shane,

Interesting to a see few LLLL.COM have FLOPPED on today’s Daily Sales from Namebio report. The % increase in the FLIPS has also started to declined a lot.

Further to this, the Daily sales data from that Choami.cc site also shows a big drop of in sales volumes since the 17th of August.

The volume of LLLL.COMS and 5N-8N.COM for Sale on the ‘Western Sites’ is still available there each day, but the prices being paid are no longer going up exponentially.

    hmmmmm

    1. Barry,

Volume will certainly decrease. That was a given. How many 5N.coms you see at auction right now. A few a day. As for pricing. Vs last week a flop. Vs last month, doing just fine.
