There are some good names in the list today for a Saturday. I had to have myself surgically removed from my lounge chair because I sat in it so long without moving that I think my skin fused with the cloth on the chair. Running a trail race this morning and its always my worst race of the year. I’ve shut down the engines the last few weeks and eaten like a pig and this race is up and down creeks and ridges. Not a good combo. But its good for me to suffer and wheeze every once in a while to remind me to take better care of myself. It seems to knock me back into reality each year so I continue to do it. My daughter is coming with me for the first time to throw gas on the fire. She’s become a great runner and will probably win the women’s division or be pretty close.
