DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday, Feb 15th

Escrow.com

It’s so nice to have Escrow sharing a little data with everyone.  They have a ton more than they could share that would really show the growth in our industry.  All without giving away details of the domains themselves.  Yesterday was a busy day as we had a little snow yesterday and I had to plow off and on until Midnight. Usually plowing snow is good luck for me as I have sold a domain within 24 hours of plowing almost every time.  If anyone wants to spend a few thousand dollars just to keep the streak alive I’m game.   Here are todays names. Click to see current prices.

EnRoute.com  19 years old.  Directions, location and transportation.  But that’s pretty obvious

ToolU.com  19 years old.  Yet again a nice 5L that will make a great brand.

TISQ.com, BYLA.com, ZIPB.com , JKAK.com OTOX.com, DVYE.com

VentureCapitalists.net   Not a bad name for $12.  No bidders.  17 years old

MindWealth.com  No bidders.  17 years old.  I see a mental floss or education site

GhostWriting.com  People don’t realize how often this is the case. Matter of fact this is Shane’s daughter writing this

Sid.net   Acronym or short email for a guy named Sidney

DRUP.com  I’m going to put this in the pronounceable category. 16 years old

Verks.com  No bidders at $12 for this 5L.com.  Maybe a guy named Verk is going to start something special

RRUR.com  At $40 at press time.  Don’t have to tell you its worth more

BSNY.com   A WHiP made better with New York in the name.  Over under $2800

33VV.com  Its a double V but still nice balance on this one

RUUR.com  Again, “bad” vowels but perfectly balanced name

SpinClass.com There is a reserve but its still a nice name.  I understand the need for reserves as a seller, hate them as a buyer

TradeWork.com  I see people that work in the trades and a service that lets people barter their services. 12 years old

1L7.com  May not look pretty to you but could hit $700.  You think $700 is pretty, I do.  Not as pretty as $7000 though

CWZ.cc  Four figure name……..and climbing

67530.com, 57943.com, 74256.com, 46150.com  They’re all 5N and that’s never a bad thing.  I would say the first one ends up the highest of the group simply because it doesn’t have a 4.  Or as Josh calls it “the good number”

887070.com  Love the flow of this one.  I may take a ponder at this come a little later in the morning

ZHM.co  Hottest thing since dot me

SWK.co  This one is killing it.  These may catch .cc, I doubt it but you never know

TDFW.net, HZGL.net, TXWJ.net, DXKZ.net, NGMC.net, JXQY.net, YNFY.net   Every day when I type these most of the LLLL.net are at $200 to $225.  At least its consistent

HHHW.org  If this one doesn’t have value then none of the LLLL.orgs will

526726.com, 682512.com  and 717167.com  Just two simple CHiP 6Ns

W6.biz  Should be a lot more valuable than most LLL.biz

565T.com, 565N.com, 615K.com and 636s.com  Funny thing is 6 years ago I loved this type but the holding cost would have made these break even at $60.

333.mobi  We’ll find out if NNN.mobi has any value

211320.com, 274448.com, 144454.com, 737075.com  499958.com and 201586.com  For all of you adding the zero and 4 6Ns.  I have been adding some because I think the zeros offer value.  But I could be wrong and you could lose all your money and half to take a job pouring sand in all the divots at the smallest golf course in North Dakota

507858.com These are the type I’ve been buying for $50 or $60.  Although most of mine start with 8 now that I think of it

Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)

Printers.info  No reserve.   3D may not be as hot as it was but this isn’t limited to just that.  This is all printers past and future

DotCom.org  Love the thought but love the irony more

MRJI.com   The seller has done a lot of business so he may have a reasonable reserve to get this sold

JBRO.com  19 years old. A lot of guys still call each other bro so big value. Or maybe just an acronym

673.org  It’s funny that LLLL.org are in the $30 range and a NNN is only $600. Something is out of whack

833.org and 797.org   These are even better but the price isn’t even at $600 yet.

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM

Symbiotic.com  As seen on DomainSherpa.  Was our favorite of the list that day

WeddingPhotographer.com  A very special name.  If this is what you do, it doesn’t get any better than this.  Pretty good reserve, as expected

Wicket.com  I don’t know shit about cricket and I still know this is a HUGE cricket name

HealthyHeartDiet.com  You hear about this all the time.  Maybe you don’t but I’m old so I do.  1 bidder

GreatArtists.com  Nice marketing name for some form of music or art business

Brickmasons.com  Can’t believe the brickmason union doesn’t have this one yet

GCNW.com , GDTL.com  FPPC.com Here’s a few names that are going to look nice in either First or Two Two’s portfolio

Bogal.com  6 bidders on the 5L.com

Nugex.com  Another nice 5L.com with just one bidder

Layouts.com   As seen on Sherpa.  Nice name for WP themes or similar

Restored.com   Like this one a lot.  Obvious use.  For a guy that restores chain saws

DopeAddict.com  Plenty of these in the US.  Would serve a treatment center well

NonStopBeauty.com  No bidders. Reminds me of my wife.  Although that short cut during her pregnancy wasn’t my favorite.  A different kind of beauty

FilmGrants.com    Film makers biggest obstacle is always cash.  Find it for them

1EYE.com  Has 13 bidders.  Reminds me of Mike from Monsters Inc.  I love Mike

TheWorth.com Fine name for a price guide

MYKY.com  I’ve always liked Kentucky

SoftwareMarket.com We still buying software?  I haven’t in a while so wasn’t sure

99229.com  Special 6N.com  Very nice pattern

BWQ.net  Almost forgot to put a LLL.net on the list today.  Whew!!!

CDDA.com  These are the kind I am buying.  Good letters with A and C at the end

97088.com and 62267.com   Two more 5N.com that you might as well buy if you’re bored.  Not much action yet

  1. (I’m not planning on bidding on the following name and am not trying to drive the price down for my own gain.)

SpinClass.com is a risky buy, which might explain the lower bids despite the amazing end user value.

Mad Dogg takes their trademarks seriously (http://www.spinning.com/en/legal_trademark_notices) . They fear that their trademark will lose its strength if it becomes too commonly used (Kleenex, Chapstick, etc.). Some argue that they are trying too little too late (18 years too late). Nonetheless, they are trying.

Here’s some links to a lawsuit they filed in 2010. It’s hard to tell if “Spin Class” would make their lawyers angry, but add the potential legal fees for defending yourself against a corporate giant and suddenly the domain doesn’t seem like such a good investment.
