According to my transfer specialist at Domain Name Sales or Uniregistry Market, my .LY domain was the first .LY that they’ve ever sold. I’m a little surprised by that. I finished the transfer today, and it’s a little different than any other process. The buyer had to create an account and request a transfer for the name. Then register.ly sent me that code and a link to approve the transfer. There wasn’t any problems and the buyer got the name.
Maybe I’ll get my picture on the wall at DNS, or maybe Frank will give me another free domain.
