Travs List of Domains at Auction for Friday June 21, 2019

Escrow.com

I’m filling in for Shane today as he is dealing with some personal issues.  I’m sure he will update everyone as soon as he is back writing the list.  For now, please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers (if praying is something you do).

Shane and I were discussing alright.com which was in the NamesCon Europe auction Thursday morning.  We both loved the name, but decided not to bid on it, because the correct way to type the phrase is all right.  I consider myself to be an excellent speller and a stickler for proper spelling, but I don’t think I’ve ever typed the word alright as all right, and I don’t remember ever seeing it that way.  To me, “all right” is saying “all of this is correct”, and “alright” is saying “ok”.  I don’t know…  I still love the name.  Do any of you spell it “all right”?

  1. I view ‘Alright’ the same way you do here. I also really liked the name.

  2. A PLC is the UK equivalent of a US publicly traded company. The UK version of an LLC is a Limited company, or LTD for short.

I am not religious but sending good vibes to Shane all the same.

    1. Thanks to everyone that emailed or texts me over the last 24 hours. My father was in the hospital for what was supposed to be a routine infection and suffered a heart attack. Fortunately he was in the hospital so he survived. But it was tough on his body. We all go through these things in our life and now is my time. I only hope and pray I get to go through it again with my Father but much later down the road.

      1. Sorry to hear that. Right though, at least he was in the right place to have it happen.

        Keep the chin up…

      2. Shane,
Best of luck to your dad on a speedy recovery. I have never met him but they say sons end up like their fathers so he must be a great guy.
        Cheers

  3. All the best to your dad and family. I had a heart attack in February and am going through cadio-rehab. It made me love my family even more than I did before and care less about everything else.
