As I’m sure 2 or 3 of you must have noticed, I haven’t posted much as of late. Well there is a reason for that and I just wanted to give a quick update…
As many of you know, I have been actively searching for a new job after leaving my previous employer last month. Well, I am pleased to announce that I have accepted a job offer. I don’t want to go into too many details because it will be announced on a larger scale soon, but I can say that I am extremely extremely excited for what’s to come. It is an absolutely terrific opportunity and I couldn’t be more pleased with the way everything turned out. I turned down 2 job offers simply because they didn’t feel right and when this one came along I couldn’t wait to say ‘yes’.
The reason I haven’t had much time to post articles is this new position requires me to relocate. So, for the last few weeks I’ve been trying to secure a new place to live, sell a bunch of my stuff, and just tie up all the loose ends that a relocation requires. I sold my BBQ smoker today and I must say it was a sad moment, but unfortunately I just can’t take that or most of my stuff with me to where I’m going. Again I’ll keep it under wraps for now, but as my friend Bob would say, “I’m packin’ up my game and i’ma head out west…’.
Once I’m done moving I look forward to getting back to a regular schedule and posting regular content back here on the blog. It’s extremely difficult to sit down and write with 500 other things on my mind. I can’t wait for everything to get settled, which will be around the 1st of the month.
So, until then, I’ll still be around, but just not as active here. I’m happy to see the blog traffic doing well despite my vacation and Shane writing only what he really feels like. I think it’s a testament to the quality of the previous articles that we’ve written which Google obviously appreciates. If nothing else, that’s one lesson you can learn for your own development. See, I taught you something today afterall.
I’ll see you all soon!
-Chris
