The Daily recap of Shane’s Auction Picks, the 13th of April 2016
More Godaddy trouble today. I wasn’t working online, but Travis emailed me and said he couldn’t register anything. This is a problem I’ve had in the past and one that I have advised Godaddy about several times. Usually the name will appear as available, when you attempt to add them to your cart the system tells you it’s unavailable. Eventually after a couple tries the name will go into your cart and allow you to check out. Today it seems like the problem was worse and the system would not allow any names to be registered.
I was just reading a post on Namepros, the discussion was primarily focused around Godaddy and Uniregistry and how easy Uniregistry is to use. I agree, and like I’ve said in the past I’ve stayed primarily with Godaddy because of Premium Listing’s and having an account rep that I can email or call that will take care of any issues I have. But eventually enough will be enough, I want to believe they’re working on things but I’m really having trouble understanding why they’re buying portfolios and not fixing these issues.
Maybe I don’t understand how it works, maybe Godaddy could care less if they lose business to Uniregistry, maybe the concerns of domainers are a minor inconvenience to their larger business goals. If I did care about these things and I ran the largest registrar in the world, I wouldn’t sleep or let anyone else sleep until it was fixed. Alas I don’t make those decisions and people that are a lot smarter than me do.
RG2.com 20 years old. Can’t go wrong with a LLN.com. Father of RG3
2,968 USD I always try and sound them out to see if there’s some hidden pronunciation, like when you’re driving down the road and you see a vanity license plate with a letter number mix, like YBL8 or Lky7 or P4me
Siria.co The Spanish spelling of Syria. 673,000 Google Search volume. Siria is of interest to all countries in the world
LandscapeGallery.com 18 years old. People love to look at landscape pictures. Especially if you’re old
? Sounds like a coffee table book
CreditSolution.com I would like the plural better but lots of money in helping people that can’t handle their money. Under $100 at press time
? You could swing the singular pretty easily, “CreditSolution.com, The only real solution to your credit problems.”
MWPC.net 17 year old LLLL.net
TheNeighbor.com 17 years old. Surprised there are hardly any bidders.
506 USD Sounds like a horror movie.
Caution.net I use through this to the wind
1,525 USD I like this with the net, it makes me think safety net, caution net, I think it works.
AsianGolfMonthly.com PR4 , 1000 backlinks. Asian really do love their golf
Zaine.com Getting a heck of a price. A popular first name but the most popular Zaine right now spells it Zayn
LiveInTheFlow.com One of the guys in our running group preaches this. He says staying in the flow was the key to happiness.
? The flow of running? Or is he talking about the force or some other type power source or energy?
PokerSuite.com 5 figure name back during the poker craze. Now you can take away two digits
795 USD Damn you Department of Justice for ruining all of our poker careers.
Vulv.com Worst company name ever. You have to drop your chin just to say it. Price is purely as a LLLL.com
500 USD Noun (obsolete) plural form of vulva, Means lots and lots of vulva.
PocketTorch.com Sounds like a pyros dream. Or a powerful, small flashlight. One bidder
130 USD Expired and sold a few years ago this date, adjusted for leap year, sold for $20 more.
SteamVac.com I use one all the time. My daughter hasn’t quite discovered what a napkin is. One bidder
561 USD This seems like a decent name, I’d take this over “TheNeighbors.com” any day.
JWMR.com CHiPs prices are all over the place right now. I do like this one. Not a fan of J unless its in the first slot like it is here
1252 USD Just Wait Mr.
ThesePricesAreNuts.com I heard it a lot over the last 4 months.
895588.com Getting lots of action and deservedly so. Great pattern. Deservedly if you think patterns have more value
2,075 USD Seems it doesn’t matter if you think so or not, they do.
333621.com Another nice pattern here. Great patterns seem to be holding price and doing well
2,370 USD I would have pegged the first one getting more even with the trip 3’s.
76076.com I have been buying these. Palindromes with a zero. I think the are undervalued. And again, undervalued meaning that I think they make good website names because they are visually appealing and easy to remember. The same reason I liked numerics 6 years ago
? Not really a palindrome but a nice repeating number.
JPJ.info If you like LLL.info then you probably will like this one
1875.org, 120 USD
2337.org 162 USD
Been a while since we’ve seen some LLLL.org. They’re cheap comparatively. Much cheaper than most tlds

No Winner over $10K
SongHouse.com No bids at $1. $15
MRM.co If dot co is your flavor then you have to love this one
No Winner at $500
SalmonJerky.com I think I would rather eat jerky made of my old running shoes than eat this
No Winner, MMM Delicious Salmon Jerky, I like the teriyaki
