Part of the rewards of making money in domain investing is it provides me the money to indulge in things my wife would never let me buy. From a high end tri bike to first class trips around the world, domain investing has made my life even more enjoyable. One of my new toys is an Elliptigo. It’s a crazy looking contraptions that essentially puts an elliptical machine and turns it into a bicycle. It lets me bike but simulates the conditioning of running. All without the pounding on the knees, joints, and hips, that running on the roads can cause. I don’t mind the pounding but when you run 80 miles a week, those last 20 miles just kill you. But you need them to get in top shape for longer distances. The elliptigo is allowing me to get those extra miles but leaving me fresh enough to continuing training. That and keep me from looking exhausted all the time. The most difficult part of owning it is not riding it, it’s all the people that slow down or turn around and try and figure out what the Hell you’re riding. It’s like someone that had a car in the time of horse and buggies. I’m not saying this is that revolutionary but it sure is that much fun. If anybody has any questions about it shoot me an email. Here are today’s names

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details. *All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct.
I looked at getting an Elliptigo recently as I am dealing with a calf strain (that somehow developed into shin splints since I didn’t take enough time off to heal completely) but didn’t want to shell out the coin. They certainly aren’t cheap. Let us know how it works out for you.
Turns out a new pair of shoes fixed all my problems. I’m at that age where rotating three new pairs of flyknit lunar2’s seems to last me only a couple of months of running before my body objects violently! Even though I can get them under $100 each, it might be cheaper in the long run to get the Elliptigo to use once or twice a week.
9983.net is indeed one of the nicest NNNN.net names to come out in awhile. Any chance you can update where it lands and what it sells for? Cheers!
Paul,
Yeah, it’s $2500. Which is a lot of money yet we throw that much into names all the time not even thinking twice 🙂
