DSAD: Domain Name Auction Picks: Monday 7/28

Escrow.com

Yesterday I added my first names to Brand Bucket.  At first I was like everyone else and thought I could do my own version of Brand Bucket. But the more and more I thought about it I realized that they have built a business that startups and domain searchers go to for names. They also offer buy it now prices which is much more comfortable for many buyers.  Some may balk at the commission but if I get double what I thought I could there then I don’t really care.  It’s real simple to set up and Margot has been very helpful with any questions I’ve had.  Now the question is will I sell any names.  That I will have to wait and tell you later.  I know that I have a much better chance than I did yesterday.  But chances don’t pay for the Porsche’s gas.   Here are today’s names

Brickers.com  Upgrade name for a few places.  Could be a mason name.  Only 2 bidders.  17 years old

NFLFootball.com   Yes the NFL is letting their domain drop.  Surprised their hasn’t been 10 posts on it.   Don’t touch it unless you plan on giving it back

EliteWireless.com  Upgrade name for a lot of companies.  Or it eventually will be

SelfTrainer.com No bidders.  Because not all of us want a muscley guy named Jim telling us “Two More!!!!!” “Push it”

WhileYouSleep.com  No bidders.  Great marketing name for a company that provides a service.   Gets it done “while you sleep”  Worth a shot at $69 IMO

DomainFreak.com  No bidders.  Certainly memorable and fits a few people I know

Mistreated.com  Not a very positive name but could be used for positive

TX.org   Obvious Texas use here

3055.net  The NNNN.nets aren’t getting a lot of love lately.  I think there is some value.  I’m a bidder

Jumbled.com   Memorable brand.  Past tense of Jumbling

HDMovies.info   HD and Ultra HD continue to grow in popularity each year

Ga.gs  I’ve never been a big fan of hacks but evidently a lot of people are

Investing.info   Fetching a HUGE price

Physical.com   Eric is selling this fantastic name.  He may even let you have it at a good price

NEW WEDNESDAY!!!! Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day.. 33% OFF RENEWALSbb50pd5

LeisureTours.com 17 years old.  Because “work your ass off tours” wouldn’t sell as well.   PR 5

GameBreak.com  Great brand.  12 year old.  A lot of action early

StartupMentor.com   Startup people love this type of stuff.  Mentoring and giving back.  Actually everybody should like this type of stuff. Only one bidder

3L3L.com   These sell fairly regularly over at 4.cn.  Only two bidders.  (one is me)

SnapLoans.com  I like this name much better than the generic fast loan type names

TheKarate.com  “The” doesn’t work as well here as some other nouns but there’s no bidders so I think you’ll be OK

9AG.com  CCC that is under $25 at press time.  Worth 10 times that IMO

2032.cc  Approaching $100 at press time

LubeJob.com  I have a feeling they won’t be searching for oil change places.  Only two bidders

  1. I have 11 names listed with them and they are all live now. Have your domains been accepted? It took almost two months to get their OK and several more weeks to get them actually ‘listed.’ Don’t forget they also deduct $100 for the artist that did the logo if it sells. No sales yet… Good luck,Shane!
