Domain Chain’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday March 8th, 2018

Mar 08 2018

No doubt in my mind that Godaddy’s valuations are driving prices. Josh mentioned it in an earlier post but today I’m seeing prices I just don’t get.  They are way higher than I would expect but then I look across at GD’s valuation price and they show a high valuation as well.  Which tells me that I have no idea of the value of a domain at auction.  The value of domains has risen considerably.  Or people are pricing off of Godaddy or at least making themselves feel better when they see the value.

Just look at the price of a few of the top domains at GD.   You think they are worth that much?  I think they have value but those prices are pretty strong.   I know the competition is fierce for good names but I didn’t think it would get this fierce.

On another note, I put up a bunch of on Sedo.  And yes I put up accidentally.  For 24 hours you could have done what hundreds of other people did on my LLLLs and make me an offer for $200 and then cancel the negotiation after my counter was in the $1000s.  But I removed it so we’re no longer for sale.  But the others are and maybe one of those $200 offers will turn into a $225 offer and I’ll be rich.  Here are today’s names.    Click on them for current price
