Domain Shaine’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Sunday March 11th, 2018

Mar 11 2018

I have to admit it was great watching Tiger Woods play and compete for the lead for the first time in a while.  When Tiger was in his prime he was like nothing sports had seen since Michael Jordan.  Head and shoulders above the rest and doing things nobody else could do.   Time, his cheating, his body, and the rest of the field ended up catching up to him but its still nice to relive the good old days of working on the computer while the crowd screams on the TV with Tiger’s every shot.

On a personal note.  I gave a gardening talk yesterday for decent size group of 200.  I prepared the talk a few weeks ago and it was pretty good.  I figured with a few ad libs I would do just fine. But then I saw an email about me fee and some paperwork needed.  I forgot how much I had charged them and got nervous that while it was a good talk, at that price I might need to step it up a notch.  So I wrote some gardening jokes, added a few more interesting pictures, and added some flare.  Realistically after giving talks for 25 years and having a television show of 20 I was going to do just fine,  but I always want to earn my money.  And I think I did.  It wasn’t quite the slow clap that went on for 10 minutes but I do feel sorry for the guy that had to follow me.  Not because of my great talk but because he had to wear the microphone after me and I had bad morning breath .  Here are today’s names.    Click on them for current price

Quote of the Day:

Domain of the Day:  Getting completely overlooked.  No bidders. $12 would be a steal but my guess it will be much much more than $12 when it’s all said and done

Namejet and Sedo Names at Auction and    Two rare and the reserve is spot on.  I think these both sell  No reserve so the nice CVCV is going to sell  Elon Musk said we need two things.  Engineers and Storytellers   As long as there is an Internet there will be a need for hosting and hosting names  Wordpress and site themes are a good money maker   I think you could get a good deal on this one if it goes for under $600   No too many interested in this one.  Maybe too generic   Good name for someone in our industry  No bids.  Great name for a credit card company marketing name   4 bidders on this

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids  although I am going to guess the site will return anything but. $4K valuation   Its over $200 at press time   Didn’t this one would get bids.  Tried to think of a hernia joke but nothing funny about hernias  It has a Q but it also has a C   Getting some good bids for being a dot net.  But not a lot of competition today  One of the top prices on the board today.  I think most people can spell it    Medical treatment or health food.  34 bids   Highest price on the board is a   Officially a CHiP but the Chinese haven’t claimed it yet   If you believe Godaddy it gets 30,000 visits per month  Jeffrey kind of jacked up the name   .net can’t stop this one

Godaddy Names With No Bids Very nice marketing name for $12   Interesting concept.  I’ll take an hamster for 3 days please.  “Sorry they don’t usually live that long”  Pretty sure Cam girls are still a thing.  No bids  This is a real thing.  Also known as a skylift.  No bids  Great name if you make urinal cakes or pads  Not sure what you would use it for but a term I hear occasionally.  And I can spell it Not sure chart is that great but could be a decent name for our industry. No bids  Nice brand for under $50 IMO
