Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. (if you have trouble with the contact form its shane@ this domain name) I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good investments
16766.com will for sure fly past $5k, great name.
I am willing to say with almost 100% certainty that none of the 20 or so 6n.coms at auction today in your list will close at $138 or even close. There’s every chance that none of them will close below $200 IMO.
Let’s see!
Joel,
It’s just what the average is. Maybe these are the low side that helps build that average 🙂
Shane, thanks for keeping me informed and entertained this year, HNY all.
I am a domain investor from China and find it very funny that the west seem to think that we are not buying numeric domains that have a 0 or 4 in them or that they are undervalued because of their relationship to our language. Just a hint to you guys in the west, we are buying your numerics with a 0 and 4 very cheap and come 12 months from now we’ll be selling them back to you at a big profit.
Shane – I would like to RSVP if there are any openings left, I would love sit at the Big Boy Table and chat… 12:30 on Monday the 11th.
Regards,
Bennie
Bennis and Chris,
You are the last ones in. I forgot Travis couldn’t make it and that Michael Cyger doesn’t eat a lot so we could squeeze in two more. I think if we did a dinner we could probably get 50 people together. I’m think I’m going to try and plan a dinner next year.
Book me in for 2017.
@Dennis Lee – The facts remain that numerics with 0/4 in them generally speaking go for less then other numerics, whether it is in 3n,4n,5n,6n or anything else for that matter, unless part of a specific pattern etc.
If you’re hoping to buy cheap and sell them back to western domainers then I assume you mean for all length of numerics such as 4n etc. If that’s what you mean, I think it may be a very hard sell as I know I and many others simply will not pay up as much as we would for most domains without 0/4.
In short, if this really is your plan it’s a very risky one IMO.
Shane, let me know if anyone else cancels for the lunch. I would like to go if someone does. I’m up for talking domains, how shitty some mascots are (mine was a Flaming Heart), and whatever else comes up.
Awww Never mind. I just saw I was on the lunch list already. Thanks again Shane and can’t wait to meet you all!
