Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday February 15th

I have one simple question. Would you rather have teeth for hair or hair for teeth?  Think about that as you peruse the names.  Here are today’s names.  Click the links for current price

Quote of the Day:  “Worrying keeps you just busy enough to keep you from actually doing anything about it ”

Domain of the Day:   Your Name Here for $10.

Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids   I like this as a canna name   Some age and two easy to spell and remember words.  Sounds like a small company that nobody has heard of that got bought by Google for $15 million   A machine that coats stuff.  Or a brand and a  Anyone can write a book.  Only a select few can write a book that people want to buy. 18 years old   A four figures already .  Traffic and backlinks.  17 years old Pronounceable 5Ls going higher and higher each month   Is a Nintendo game but I don’t get the bids or the price   I love islands.  Not so good at Yoga.  24 bidders   No 4s or zeros.  $2K plus    A, a last name, and a Japanese video game character   The company that used to be famous for selling the $4000 hypo allergenic cat, and   These are the three on the expiring name board today    Have to start here and move up to eBillionaire     Everyone in the US will think Olajuwon but its a popular name in parts of the world  Surprised a name that is just a play on romance is doing so well.   Getting a few bids   Lots of trademarks on this one.  And that’s a good thing.  Means people will want it

Domains With One or No Bids The one thing you don’t want when you’re coming down a mountain 20 years old and getting a bid. I don’t have a CD player on my computer anymore but I may buy one to see the Peter North intro Not every 5L is getting bids though. None here Shows how different a name can be with a couple of Capitals in different places No bids. Good if you can get it for $12 You know some guy is going to want to name his product or company this These double letter shorts sell well on BrandBucket. No bids Certainly memorable for $12

Some Good Numerics Today

Good patterns and no “bad” numbers

Other Names With Bids

Namejet Auction   Great letters and ends in C.   The best letter at the end IMO   I think I will  My buddy David is selling this one. 3 bidders (note:Being my friend has no effect on value)   Good if its a pool , bad if its an argument   Love the letters here as well   C at the end and a name I am bidding on would be a five figure name.  So……. this has some value   Like the name but I have so many garden names and this isn’t quite what I’m looking for

SEDO May sell today/tonight  .  Getting close to reserve.  Actually I have no idea.  No range on reserve   Good year, decent    Not sure if it will hit reserve but will draw a lot of bids  But this one sure as heck might. Very nice numeric and They keep coming in this months Great Domain auction   Very nice pattern.   I have that keeps me interested in the results of this one

  1. Shane,
What’s the deal with pronounceable 5Ls consistently going up in price?
What’s the cause for this trend?
I’m a huge pronounceable 5L guy, especially ones that spell exactly as they are pronounced.
IMO, they are some of the best memorable, brandable & catchy domain names out there.
Picked up for $103 through GD Auctions recently. was actually developed a few years ago.
Received $690k in angel funding in 2014.
Don’t know what happened to the company, but I do like the name.
I think it’s a good name for a monthly subscription “box” service or sales platform.
Anyway, I’m glad to see they are increasing in value.
