Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday May 24th, 2019

I’ve had problems with registrars over the years.  Names not showing up in my account and even names in my accounts that I’ve sold and know were transferred out because the buyer accepted escrow and even screenshoted the name in his account after I told him I still had it. Actually now that I think of it, the problems have all been at eNom.  One time I even had to email the old owner to accept a transfer even though I clearly owned the name and all the contacts were in my name, yet the emails kept going to him.  Rather than try and fix it I just asked him to accept it.  It worked and the name transferred.
Other problems I’ve had are just me being lazy. Like yesterday when my friend Ken O’Brien said he had a decent starting offer at Afternic for a name I had purchased from him.  I hadn’t listed the last 10-15 purchases on Afternic because I have been busy and its sitting on a list of things to do.  I have all them on landers so I’m not completely missing out on offers but I am missing out on quick transfer buys.  Fortunately I’ve been in this industry long enough I’ve made enough friends and contacts that I can solve most of my problems with an email but between some bad glitches at the registrars and my laziness, I’ve been able to make things that should be easy into a bit more difficult.  But I guess that’s everything in life.  You can do a little work early and be done or you can do a lot more work later.   Here are today’s names. Make sure to click on the names to see the current price and to help DSAD keep on keeping on

Domain of the Day:      Simple and you know that you are getting house wares right in the name

Quote of the Day: It never ceases to amaze me: we all love ourselves more than other people, but care more about their opinion than our own.” – Marcus Aurelius

Namejet, Sedo, and other Names Up for Auction   Real close to the reserve.  Millions of acres of country property sells each year  Of course these will be located in the cities   Should meet reserve.   Many families are worried about using chemicals around the home   Good name for a golf related entity   Millions of Americans are getting Hip Transplants.  Good marketing name if you offer it  Snap got a good one with this expiry and  Two with just a few bids

Godaddy Domains With Multiple Bids  195 bids have been placed on this maybe former communications company.  I say maybe because it doesn’t look to have folded but they certainly let their name expire   Was a hipster BBQ joint.  Now closed.  Surprised how many people want the domain.  I am always perplexed why people would pay $1500 for a name like this. Anyone have an answer?  Crypto is back baby!!!!!!!!  Mapping or location app all the way  88 anything short still gets bids    Everyone should have a few eSports names.  Definitely here to stay  still has some value.  Which is good, have a few left   All the bids are for the history and backlinks  Girls name and those are in high demand     Great marketing name for a lawyer.  In trouble?  The DUIGuy can help   Godaddy thinks its worth $3o00 more than its current bid   Customize your ______________  As or more important than the Outer Man  I see this more as the Boston wicked than the play  Just a matter of time before they have these to go with the canna bar  Fails the radio test miserably but I think its a decent brand   A Majong term I don’t know about

  1. Why wouldn’t your friend delete the name from his afternic account, I would say about 15% of afternic inventory is in accounts that don’t even own the names.

    1. Mike,
I do have domains removed that I no longer own. I believe we removed the wrong domain and now I get to figure out which domain was removed instead of the domain that was supposed to be removed.

  2. Shane,
I always forward offers to the new owner of any domain I have sold. I hope everyone would do the same.

Have a nice Memorial Day weekend
