Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday September 7th , 2018

Sedo let me know that they accepted into the auction.  I’ve mentioned on twitter that I had it for sale and had a few offers but nothing was ever very good.   I bought the name pretty cheap back in the day before bitcoin was even a thing.  I bought it only because the price was less that the cost of all the year it was registered.  It had 7 or so years left on it when I bought it.  It was basically free once I bought it so I had plenty of time. But I think the bitcoin thing ends in January.  Just kidding.  It’s time to make a little money and move on.  That’s assuming the reserve gets hit.

I also posted that I was going to put a few names up for sale at auction yesterday and within hours I got a few offers on two of the names.  Z95 got a $3500 offer from someone at eName.  It could be pure chance but regardless it reminds me that every time I auction something I get an offer for a name or two that is more than I sold all the names combined.  Has me double thinking my auction strategy.  If I sell coins and Z95 then I just hold and wait.  Or maybe I hold and wait.  This whole domain thing where you have to have patience to make good money is boring 🙂  Here are today’s names. Click through to see the current price

Quote of the Day:  A man can’t live his future if his past is his present.

Domain of the Day:     The best used phone sales site names I’ve seen come across Godaddy

Namejet and Sedo Names  As good of a that has come up for auction at Namejet in the last few years  Not a bad cloud name.  Under $150 at press time    Dogfood is starting to get better than human food   Batteries look to be the future.  Recycling them is going to be the money  1998 domain.    Good wine marketing name   Nice little 6L brand

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids  1996  domain.  GD value of $750 and getting lots of industry love   I can comfortably say this is the first Rape name to cross $5K I’ve seen  Ends in C with premium letters in front.   That’s enough.  1998 birthday  1996 birthday and at four figures at press time   Start your own fake news site.  Gonna cost you a little   I guess we ARE doing coin names still  A Chinese CHiP.  These have fallen in price while Western premiums have moved up quite a bit   Pretty decent    Upgrade name for dozens of entities    Nice brand but we all know its really just a lemon

Godaddy Domains With No Bids  Sounds like a wholesome natural product   I only buy great word .cc and I buy them for cheap.  This is borderline…but has a bid  I keep it in the bathroom.  I don’t use it on my udders but sure helps heal after a fall during a trail race.   No bids  Not a term used much but would make a good brand IMO  Many schools and companies are installing them.  A touch, feel, relax garden  not a bad wallet name for $12  Love this one as a SSL cert sales site name.  No bids  Trumps new site

  1. “This whole domain thing where you have to have patience to make good money is boring.”

That’s the $64,000 question, “Does the hold and wait make a better overall return (Warren Buffet) or this the best offer I will get in the next 5-10 years so I should sell now. ” The take the money and buy something new strategy is definitely more exciting!
