Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday February 28th, 2019

If I had to pick one tool I would 100% take DomainIQ (although I would buy Namebio under the table) .  I couldn’t do my job without it.   I’m not getting paid to say this I just use it every day and that’s what I do here.  Talk about what I use.  I use it every day.

1. I use it to find out all the domains someone has in their portfolio. As soon as I find a name I like I immediately go to DomainIQ to see what other names they have that I may also like.
2. I use it to see what domain investors I respect are buying and registering
3. To find historic whois because the current system is so bad I can’t find out who owns the name. If I have the last owner at least I have a starting point
4. To look at where people have their names to help me understand where people fill their names.  For instance if a domain investor is heavy at DropCatch registrars or names move over from Godaddy.

A lot of this doesn’t mean much other than for me to learn how and what other domain investors are doing with their portfolios.  But it does help me find names to buy or a little more about my potential buyer and who they are.  I know its replaced DomainTools for me since I don’t really care about account changes for domains.  I’m not a very good reporter of domain that sold. I am merely trying to be the guy they talk about some day in those big buys or sales. Here are today’s names. Great Domains Auction at Sedo Ends today.  Here are a few I like that I think will hit reserve or already have

TBN.com  Has hit reserve and whoever gets it will own a great LLL.com IMO

W.de  A single letter .de has to be worth the reserve IMO.  Germans use .de all day long.  Its not like its .us

Lovee.com   I would assume next bid hits reserve.  All I think about is the Illinois football coach

GamblingOhio.com  Met reserve.  People are already prepping for legalized sports betting

GamblingIowa.com  Might as well get 1/25 of the states

Rorb.com  A pronounceable.  Not a great one but I think its a good buy at this price and met reserve

NIQ.com  I think this is also pronounceable

XOPU.com   CVCV.com still doing very well.  But per usual, mostly domainer to domainer

TropicalBlue.com  Reserve met at $82

Arbitrators.org  Dot org is perfect for arbitration company

MyWorkComp.com  I would think a lawyer would want to own this one

Gezinti.com   A lot of bids.   I think it means something in Turkish but doubt this is all driven by Turkish people

DodgeDart.com   Not sure Dodge would like that but there are certainly fans of the car

CBDVibes.com  Pretty much anything CBD sells right now

GoodRestaurants.com   The real money and time is in the buildout but everyone wants help finding good food

UKBets.com  You can bet sports in the UK but not sure if users would want a .uk or .co.uk rather than this

OKIQ.com   Everyone thinks they have much better than an OK  IQ
