Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday May 29th, 2019

Escrow.com

I’m starting to sound like I don’t like Frank Schilling but I do. He’s one of my favorite people in the industry.   I’ve written this same post 3 times. I just don’t think he should take a break from being a keynote speaker at domain conferences.  He’s done plenty, we’ve all seen it. He has become a salesman and not a storyteller. When he blogged back in the day he was one of the best storytellers in the industry.  Times are different and now he has a company to promote. I can guarantee his speech will be on Uni’s new domain liquidity offering.  Its been hard for him to change jackets and tell stories of the past. His job now is to tell you what you should spend money with Uni.  At this point, I’d actually much rather have Jeff Gabriel talk than Frank.  I think it would be much more interesting and informative.  But they booked Frank yet again.
Libson is going to be a great time for anyone that comes to the conference.  It’s an incredible city and it really doesn’t matter who speaks, attendance should be good.   The big wave surfer speaker looks like he will be full of great stories so I think that is a great addition.   Keynotes don’t have to be industry specific.  They have to be entertaining.  We go to see people talk for all sorts of reasons but we don’t always have to leave a talk with information that makes us money.  It can be a talk that makes us smile, makes us think, or want us to learn more about something we knew nothing about coming in.  Domain investors are curious people by nature.  We love hearing from people that know a lot about something we don’t.  Especially if they made money doing it.   Find one of those people.  It just can’t be that hard.  I think the key is money.  Frank is Free.  May even pay to do it.  Everyone else wants money for their time.  And maybe I’m the only one who thinks this way or isn’t afraid to say it out loud. Here are today’s names. Make sure to click on the names to see the current price and to help DSAD keep on keeping on

If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. 1. That’s a very good point Shane. I’ve never been to a Domain Conference (yet) but have been to other industry ones over the past 30 years. The ones that shone were the ones with “storyteller speakers”, “inspirational speakers (usually from the tough challenges they faced in their lives)” etc.
