DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Auction Picks: Saturday, October 17th, 2015

Escrow.com

Picked up a portfolio of LLLL.coms from a friend. It was one of those win win situations (I hope)  Seller is someone I’ve worked with before who was taking some money off the table and I am putting some back in.  I didn’t get a steal by any means as there were a lot of names with Vs,  but there are a couple premiums and I didn’t have to go thorough dozens of auctions trying to put together a portfolio.  As I’ve said several times, I am going to hold on to these for another year and see where they stand because I think they go up from here.  And I’m putting my money where my thoughts are.  Here are today’s name. Click for good luck and current prices

PKMC.com  Lets get this day started with a nice CPQ (Chinese Premium Quad)

Contact.cc  12 years old. Only one bidder.  Not saying that the Chinese are buying keywords yet but still worth watching. Good age for a dot cc

SWHV.com   I have been buying LLLL.coms with V because they are cheap.  I did OK when I targeted 4s.  Sure not worth as much but its all relative

UltraSeo.com  You’re not just getting SEO you’re getting ULTRA Seo.   Has a nice ring to it but then again it sounds like my last name

SEDG.com  Sedge

OnlyReviews.com   This would make a great…………review……site

RShot.com  Not saying this is a thousand dollar name but its got no bidders at $12.  That seems pretty fair

PFRH.com   I’m officially moving up minimum for CPQs to $1100

BestLashes.com Maybe its Maybelline.  No bidders

84081.com  Zero and a four yet still keeps climbing

FXNL.com  CPQ grade 7.  Just kidding I don’t have grades.  But I would say middle of the road premium

189977.com  These are the kinds of 6N.coms I think are worth buying. Patterns and memorable. My opinion only

5171888.com  Wow.  Evidently it doesn’t matter how many numbers it has if it has 888

OLKG.com  The bottom of the Chinese tier but not too bad on the English.  Under $200 which is a good buy IMO

PZXA.com   It was going so well until the A

Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 – Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)

GE.de   I don’t own any .de but I know enough about domains to know I would like to own this one

XNNW.com   CPQ with a double N.  Doing well

DomainFlips.com  I thought you’d like this one

CafeRose.com  There are a lot of Cafe Rose around.  No bidders

838384.com  Nice pattern.  At $12

EZ.com   Already has a few nice bids.  Want to go halvsies?

DCR.com Flew past the reserve

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM

MrTV.com   CPQ but also a great brand

MHPR.com  Another nice CPQ. 17 years old

DOOS.com   Vagina in Dutch…..I think

MyNewCreditFile.com  Evidently there is a market for opening a new credit file to improve credit. I typed it in and got 280 million results in Google

SocialStockPicks.com   Reminds me of Stocktwits.  People are easily swayed by social approval.  A lot of people like to bet against it.

FederalAid.com  I remember the auction back in 2010 where this sold at $40,000.

WaterBalloons.com  I would much prefer the singular but it is a big enough product to have a dedicated site

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. (if you have trouble with the contact form its shane@ this domain name) I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is corrects

  1. Saw a comment on one of the forums asking for llll.com for Bitcoin. Nice to see the shift to Crypto Currencies is starting. Hold on this will be a fun ride.
Oh yeah and what would be a good extension for crypto currency? Can you say .cc!! Perfect fit.
    Fun times.

    1. Sorry Bitwho. Crypto peaked and although has a place, will not be a widely accepted payment. Was cool for a while but most businesses dropped it. I still have customers that can’t figure out PayPal

      1. Peaked? That’s like saying the “net” peaked 10 years ago. I think we will see more from crypto as markets implode globally and people are looking to diversify exposure to lose. 80% of the btc trades are in China. I was only $3 per coin a few years ago. Other alt coins are getting used as well. Dash, Lite, etc. It just looks like the Internet did a long time ago. I remember may people saying the “net” had peaked. It’s still a baby.
        Cheers!

      2. More and more companies are starting to use btc and other CC’s. Hundreds of millions of $$ have been pumped into the blockchain. CC’s and smart contracts are the future as long as the power stays on. These technologies will eliminate many mundane tasks that banks charge you $$$$ for. Recurring payments, mortgages, rent, lease payments, bill/utility payments, etc, etc. CC eliminates most of the work behind these operations and for pennies if not free.
Time to be your own bank.
Many people still do not know how to use the net. That didn’t seem to stop it’s evolution.

      3. Bitwho,

I don’t agree. I think you have an agenda and really believe in it so you are pushing it. You are both emotionally and maybe financially invested in Bitcoin. I am not. I am not rooting against it or for it. I will let it play out naturally and see what happens. I think that alternate forms of payment will certainly exist but I don’t think Bitcoin will be it. My opinion vs your opinion. We’ll see who is right in 5 years. At that point I’m sure I will be told 5 years is nothing and we need to wait a decade.

  2. Shane, you are so wrong about crypto peaked my friend:-)) That is like Auburn fans saying Alabama peaked:-))
