DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Friday, Feb 13th, 2015

Escrow.com

Today is my favorite day of the year. It’s Friday the 13th.  You know why its known as the day when people have bad luck?  Because I’m sucking up all the good luck.  Incredible things happen to me on this day.  Always have. To the point that I always wore the number 13 on every uniform I ever wore.  I play it on every lottery ticket if I play.  Today is already starting out awesome.  My daughter sold Krispy Kremes as a fundraiser and I won’t let her pan handle so I bought all dozen donuts.  I’m leaving to have a warmer climate weekend and BAM!!!!! “Mr. Cultra, would it be OK if you got your donuts FRIDAY?”  Yes, I am getting 144 donuts right before I go.  I’m going to have 50 or so left over after I’m done eating this morning so I’m going to bring them to work which will become the happiest place on earth with all that sugar and goodness floating around.  And all that leads to happy employees that get things and that leads to me being happy.  And that’s all before 9.  Lots more to come.  Happy Friday the 13th.  Here are today’s names

Immunizer.com   15 years old. With all the flu and measles going around, this one is only going up in value. One bidder at $12

WeSellDomains.com   No bidders.  I thought you guys might like this one.  And remember we and gang mean only one person in this industry

GNRU.com  One bidder at $20

WUAH.com  Under $100 at press time. 14 years old

RealLeather.com   Not sure who’s trying to promote real leather but for $25 its worth buying and finding out IMO

RKPR.com  PR is a nice ending. Gets some traffic.  Under $100 at press time

LegalRoom.com  No bidders.  I’d go to a site called LegalRoom.  Heck, its better than LegalZoom

1H7.com  Has hit average price.  But can always go higher

99325.com  I’m learning.  And I’ve learned that ending in 5 is almost as good as 8 and in some cases better.

GrowingHemp.com  At $400, wouldn’t be surprised to see it cross $1000

OVCP.com  Under $50.  Somebody told me that Chinese don’t like Vs.  Somebody like VVVV.com enough to pay a shitton of money so I half believe it

561666.com  This is the hot riser for 2015.  6N.com with 3 matching letters at the end.  Three at the beginning is worth 25% of the price.  Again, this is a rough analysis of looking at these things every night

BabyHug.com   Nice baby brand name for under $50

SIGN UP FOR OUR NEW NEWSLETTER (top right of the page) for this list delivered the night before with some fun and games added

BeLovelyYou.com  An interesting website.  Makes a few K a month and getting 9 months revenue at current bid

Smartened.com   Today’s electronic market it taking things we have used for decades and turning them into smart things.  I can look in my fridge and make sure my lettuce is safe.  At $50

MissMarijuana.com  Kevin, keep these guys off your site. Wasting all of our time

OutOfMyHair.com  Never seen a domain at auction 15 days old but a pretty good hand reg.  Old saying

Zuppy.com  Nice brand. Could have had for cheap a few years ago. Not going to be cheap anymore

Cuban.io  IO names are hot, Cuba is hot. Putt them together and you get no bids at $1.  Go figure

Procrastination.com  Sold for $7,877 in Feb of 2014 so it will have to go for more than that to keep from being a loss

NewYork.cab  The only .cab name you’ll see this high IMO

A GODADDY COUPON CODE: 99 Cent Dot Com Registration.  gofdsp401c

LumberSupply.com  We all agreed on DomainSherpa that this was a good name

DMLL.com   16 year old LLLL.com

Retros.com   The S takes the value down a bit IMO but 129 bidders completely disagree

TheFactSheet.com  Sounds so official. Everything on this site would assume to be correct.  No bidders

PartyPhotographer.com  A bit long but it lets everyone know what you do

BYBG.com  I like this one just because it makes a good brand when said out loud.  Only 6 bidders

  1. “And I’ve learned that ending in 5 is almost as good as 5 and in some cases better.”

Is this supposed to say almost as good as 8? I’m curious.

Also, I signed up for your newsletter a couple of weeks ago. I think I got it maybe once or twice, but I haven’t received it since, and it isn’t in my junk folder either. These still going out?

    1. Trav,

I haven’t been sending them out the last week or so. I felt like it was just a rehash of what I was already doing. I am going to start sending them out again in the middle of next week. Trying to figure out the formula. As for the 5 vs 8. Yes. My screw up

  2. Well hello other travis 😉

“My daughter sold Krispy Kremes as a fundraiser and I won’t let her pan handle so I bought all dozen donuts.”

    hahaha

    1. Made me laugh also. Shane , you should try stand-up comedy. Your comments on last week’s DomainInvesting.com domain list was killer ! Please do it again !

  3. You should have two incredibly lucky months then… always back to back months if Friday 13th is Feb and it is NOT a leap year… so next month we get the same “Lucky” day again. Maybe you should go to Vegas or local casino or buy a lottery ticket in March???
