DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Monday, Feb 2nd, 2015

Escrow.com

I had a streak broken yesterday that I didn’t like.  Every time I plow snow over the last two years. Yes every time.  I have either sold a domain name during the plowing or had a very good lead or offer.  It had become the running joke in my family .  Every time I come home my wife asked me if I sold a domain.  Today I realized I had nothing.  Not even a nibble.  Oh well.  At least I got paid to plow and I was done in time to come watch the Superbowl.   PS couldn’t get the newsletter out because I was just too tired from plowing.  All I could do to go through all the names for today.  Guaranteed tomorrow. Here are today’s domains.

Heated.com  No bidders.   Short name that is great for a number of different thing but especially an HVAC company (they install air and heat)

Sitez.com  19 years old.  The z actually makes it cooler IMO

ZCV.com  Hasn’t met reserve but not too far away I’m told.   Z is a good letter in other countries besides the US

AppleStem.com  Actually not a bad brand for $12.  No bidders, 15 years old

EDHT.com  Great letters.  I think this is a $300 name.  We’ll see if I’m right

VXVV.com   Memorable.  May be worth the $250 opening bid

Z8C.com  Been a little light on CCC.coms lately at Godaddy.  Average price still $250.

Beppa.com  Only one bidder.  A steal under $150.  I am bidding on this one

SailTheKeys.com  Great marketing name.  Lots of charters in Miami and the keys. No bidders

SolarPowerInc.com    Solid solar name. Only one bidder

Dollars.org    Already hit $2500 and has some room to run.  A lot of money in dollars

Flats.org   Flats are apartments in the UK.  How much would apartments.org go for?

89871.com   May hit $500.  8s are driving the money truck here

67791.com  This one is right behind.   You will do fine owning either one of these IMO

104.org  There really hasn’t been many NNN.orgs sold.  Chinese generally avoid dot org.  Will be interesting to see final price

ATRW.com   All good letters.  W=Worldwide

89864.com  and 89846.com  These aren’t getting very many bids. May be worth a flyer

NJI.com  Great name but not getting much love.  Ends at 8 am central

Q.technology    Already met reserve at $10.  I would think that a one letter dot anything is worth more than $100

Awaits.com  Have to have patience with this one

MUDU.com  CVCV that’s a little dirty.  Get it MUD U?  Sorry

Youve.com  Been up for sale a couple times and nobody wants it.  At $100

A GODADDY COUPON CODE: A 1.99 Cent Dot Com Registration. Used on 1/28/15 ctfxc

PlantZone.com  Third times a charm.  I’ve been all of the auctions but never a winner

SBNS.com  As good of letters as you can buy

Contiguous.com   I like this one a lot .  May be too fancy a word for many

PracticeRoom.com   Drew likes this one.  May have to outbid him

Z8G.com   Here’s another one of the CCC.com and its ironically almost the exact same name. We can compare how they do on each platform

Moo.org  Either an acronym or cow and milk related

For more great names make sure to check out CAX.com

  1. Hey Shane,

It’s been a while since I’ve been back to your site. Can’t tell you how much I enjoy these domain breakdowns. My personal favorites from the list are PracticeRoom.com and Dollars.org. Both have huge upside for anyone willing to develop.

Also, your author description, “Outsmarting the Dumb, Outworking the Smart”, is my new personal mantra.
