DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Monday, Feb 2nd, 2015

Feb 02 2015

I had a streak broken yesterday that I didn’t like.  Every time I plow snow over the last two years. Yes every time.  I have either sold a domain name during the plowing or had a very good lead or offer.  It had become the running joke in my family .  Every time I come home my wife asked me if I sold a domain.  Today I realized I had nothing.  Not even a nibble.  Oh well.  At least I got paid to plow and I was done in time to come watch the Superbowl.   PS couldn’t get the newsletter out because I was just too tired from plowing.  All I could do to go through all the names for today.  Guaranteed tomorrow. Here are today’s domains.  No bidders.   Short name that is great for a number of different thing but especially an HVAC company (they install air and heat)  19 years old.  The z actually makes it cooler IMO  Hasn’t met reserve but not too far away I’m told.   Z is a good letter in other countries besides the US  Actually not a bad brand for $12.  No bidders, 15 years old  Great letters.  I think this is a $300 name.  We’ll see if I’m right   Memorable.  May be worth the $250 opening bid  Been a little light on CCC.coms lately at Godaddy.  Average price still $250.  Only one bidder.  A steal under $150.  I am bidding on this one  Great marketing name.  Lots of charters in Miami and the keys. No bidders    Solid solar name. Only one bidder    Already hit $2500 and has some room to run.  A lot of money in dollars   Flats are apartments in the UK.  How much would go for?   May hit $500.  8s are driving the money truck here  This one is right behind.   You will do fine owning either one of these IMO  There really hasn’t been many NNN.orgs sold.  Chinese generally avoid dot org.  Will be interesting to see final price   All good letters.  W=Worldwide  and  These aren’t getting very many bids. May be worth a flyer

SIGN UP FOR OUR NEW NEWSLETTER (top right of the page) for this list delivered the night before with some fun and games added  Great name but not getting much love.  Ends at 8 am central    Already met reserve at $10.  I would think that a one letter dot anything is worth more than $100  Have to have patience with this one  CVCV that’s a little dirty.  Get it MUD U?  Sorry  Been up for sale a couple times and nobody wants it.  At $100

A GODADDY COUPON CODE: A 1.99 Cent Dot Com Registration. Used on 1/28/15 ctfxc  Third times a charm.  I’ve been all of the auctions but never a winner  As good of letters as you can buy   I like this one a lot .  May be too fancy a word for many   Drew likes this one.  May have to outbid him   Here’s another one of the and its ironically almost the exact same name. We can compare how they do on each platform  Either an acronym or cow and milk related

    Hey Shane,

It’s been a while since I’ve been back to your site. Can’t tell you how much I enjoy these domain breakdowns. My personal favorites from the list are and Both have huge upside for anyone willing to develop.

Also, your author description, “Outsmarting the Dumb, Outworking the Smart”, is my new personal mantra.
