DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Monday, July 6th, 2015

Jul 06 2015

Some solid names on the list today.  Not bad for a Monday.  This is always the hardest day for people in the regular work force because they have been off work for 3 days because of the holiday. For full time domain investors it doesn’t matter because you have to work a little every day and the office is usually in the home.  It’s also the reason why the stock market and domain investing is a little slow in the summer.  I realize that the US is just a small part of the whole world but when its summer and there is a lot of vacationing and travel, thing here certainly slow down.  That time has started, we’ll see how it  effects domain investing.  It has shown up in the private listing at Namejet, Flippa, and Sedo because there are clearly not as many domains being put up.  But I think its merely a slow time not a reflection on anything in the market. Here are today’s names sold for $905 and this is a very similar domain  19 years old.  One bidder at $12.  When people tell you just a sec they usually mean 5 minutes  18 years old.  I guess the closet isn’t a secret any more  Great marketing name.  More bidders than I like want the name so it may not be cheap  I mentioned it a few days ago. Love the color noun and I love flowers so you can see why me likey  I think this would be a steal under $100 which it is below right now but won’t very long now  48 visits each month to this excellent real estate name.  16 years old I would think that Dish or Directv would want this one. No bidders  There’s a hat trick of great 5N.coms today, in almost sequential order. Buy all three   Number 2  Number 3.   All 13 years old   Great fan site name.  Yet no bidders  No bidders.  Worth buying just for a few emails  Perfect name for dot org. And if you have employees in the US you understand the value of this one  Pronounceable and if anyone did sub domain hacks could be Pro.ject  Most bids on the board  Upgrade name for quite a few companies of the same name   The dream of every content writer.  You know I see value in .cc

VERIFIED GODADDY COUPON CODE: $1.99 New Registration Godaddy STATE

120 LLLL.coms.   Not getting any love.  Not even getting bids of $100 each  Love the comments on this one.  I wasn’t sure if it was a good domain but the comments let me know   The kind of i like  No reserve. At $160 I always felt that short one word dot coms that end in Z have done well in the past and the writeup backs that up with data.  Very memorable   A great name if you want to discuss the new gTLDs.  I know the reserve and its very very reasonable

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now  22 years old and will probably get a few thousand for every year   I said I love this one on Sherpa. Still do   Doesn’t have very many bids considering how popular they are.  My favorite on the board   .uk hasn’t gotten a lot of bids but if you’re going to buy one, a two letter is a good place to start
