DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Monday, March 30th, 2015

Escrow.com

Finally did my taxes yesterday. On one hand it is hard to write big checks to anyone who didn’t help make the money.  I believe more in spending tax than income tax but that’s a discussion for another day. One way or another the infrastructure that I use every day has to be paid for.  And I have no problem doing that but I would be lying if I said that working as hard as I do and then giving someone else that money is not my favorite thing to do.  On the other hand I am proud of how well I did in domain investing in 2014.  I got better at what I do and made a lot of money.  To the point where I actually took home more money than I do from the nursery.  Of course the nursery is 10 times the business and much much larger but like most growing businesses, all money is reinvested.  I guess I do the same in domaining as I spent 70% of the money buying new domains and the rest paying renewals, domain bills, and having a good time.   I am fortunate that all domain money is extra and not one penny has to go into every day life bills.  I can have fun or keep building.  Here’s to 2015 being just as good. So far, so good.   Here are today’s names

GCWF.com  21 years old. This domain can drink legally

Gutzy.com  The Z is much more gutsy than an S.  Getting some action

UpShitCreek.com  Business model of a startup.  Up Shit Creek is free. Paddles $1.99

FaceMatch.com  Facial recognition is certainly the future of technology.   A lot of bidders know this

IncredibleSleep.com  No bidders.  Good marketing name for someone trying to sell improvements in sleep

17516.com  Could hit $1000 based on recent results.  $300 to go

California.co     Even I would buy this dot co

HellandBackAgain.com  Been there.  Nice place to visit but I would’t want to live there

QXXO.com  Certainly can remember this and passes the radio test.  Under $50

NEW GODADDY COUPON CODE: $1.99 Transfer into Godaddy VARIANT

Movie.io Doing exceptionally well.  And it should.   It doesn’t get much bigger than the movie industry.  I think it has several thousand to run

AthleticsMagazine.com  No doubt listing is driven by the recent sale of FootballMagazine.com for $2500.  New Listing, At $1

StockValuation.com and StockMarket.club   Get the 2 for 1 deal here.  Both are good names but some may argue the dot club name is the better half of the pair

Virtualizing.com  Virtual Reality has turned this into a valauble name.  People are going to be turning places and areas into virtual worlds, aka virtualizing them

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now

RSSM.com  20 years old LLLL.com.  20 years in prison is a bad thing but 20 years as a domain name……good

SpeechWriter.com  127 bidders.  I always come back to thinking about Presidential speech writer but obviously many more uses than this

GunHouse.com  I don’t like them but smart enough to know they’re big business.  Only two bidders.  Now three
