There’s one thing that hasn’t changed on the Internet in the last 15 years. Newsletter subscribers that have signed up for and want to be on, your newsletter are some of the most valuable customers you have. I haven’t really used the newsletter for DomainShane but I have concentrated on building and putting out a great newsletter for the newsletter for quite a while. Our subscriber base is so big and responsive that within hours of sending one out we have people in the parking lot. It truly effects sales immediately. We are essentially getting free advertising that would have cost us $500 to reach via TV or radio with each push of the button. I make sure to put out something that makes them glad they are signed up and of course I make it entertaining. A few jokes, a few special prices, and lots of pretty pictures. It’s the reason we get 25-50 new subscribers every week for weeks. Hope to do that eventually with a domain newsletter. But like everything I do, I want to be consistent and I haven’t dedicated the time to it yet. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Here are today’s names.
