THE Domain Conference starts today and here is why I am not attending. The main reason is I have two travel weekends coming up and I just can’t take off another few days. I love to go and talk domains and look for any reason to do so but just not a great time. Two, I’m not going because I don’t think it is right at all to ask all these people to conduct seminars, interviews, and host sessions and give them no free or discounted tickets. Everyone I talked to had to buy their own tickets. Making money off the work of others. Three, I know all the speakers and talk to them on a regular basis. Not paying money to see my friends talk.
