DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Sunday 8/24

Escrow.com

I was looking at a used F430 Ferarri the other day and saw they had a pretty nice payment plan.  They say don’t keep up with the Jones’ but when your neighbors are Jimmy John who owns the sandwich chain, Shad Khan who owns the Jaguars, a brain surgeon, and the head football coach at Illinois, you find yourself doing a little dreaming.  Two of the three have Ferraris with the surgeon just getting a used grey one.  He said I can drive it any time I want but its probably best I don’t.  I don’t buy things I can’t afford but I have this thing for sports cars so I do my best to avoid watching shows or going over to friends houses that have them.  So back to this payment plan.  You can buy this beautiful used F430 for $128K or $30K down and $1058 dollars a month for a lot of months.  Doesn’t sound that expensive at $1000 a month does it? Here are today’s names.

PaintedPuppy.com  No bidders.   Fits my “If it sounds like an IPA beer name then it’s a good domain”

PissingContest.com  My favorite on the board.  You don’t want to get into one of these I’m told

YNK.com  Next bid is $10K .   Doing very well

SH8.com  I am always surprised how much these go for.  This one is flying.  If I am reincarnated I want to come back as an 8

StealMyCar.com  I have no idea why this is over $300 but I have to admit I won’t forget the domain.  I guess I answered my own question

CashAdvancer.com   Getting some action because it has 578 backlinks and gets a few hundred visits a month

ModernBotanical.com  Sounds like a new line of skin care products.  No bidders

UECE.com  Great letters and price was under $150 at press time

GMNU.com   Gets 2 visits a month.  Going to buy it and forward the traffic to this blog and double our traffic

Approved.org  Big CPC if you are going to use it for Credit Card site.  Everyone likes to be approved

Actress.info  Easier to remember than IMDB….or is that IDMB?

26K.com  Way under value IMO. Don’t know the reserve but could be a chance to get a good buy

X.Singles   At $200.  The single letter gTLDs seem to be doing well.  Being sold as a website

Euros.info   Good name for a build out.  Every time I see these info names I kick myself for not owning more

NEW Thursday!!!! Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day. 25% off new items added to cart. Great for new gTLDs bb2017a

MYAC.com  Great heating and air name.  15 years old

Firk.com   Already sounds like an App

XeiGui.com  Chinese, just buy it

77V.com  The two sevens are going to take this one pretty high

IDNDomain.com  I figured a few of you would want this.  I think there are people from other countries that read the list.  Hard to tell as people don’t type in emails with accents

DMLL.com  LLLL.coms always get a lot of action.  This one is no exception.  Doing well

  1. Hello Shane,

You probably know this however I always tell people this when they are weighing up buying a Ferrari over a Porsche or similar “normal” performance car, because they are not the same at all.

The cost of a Ferrari does not begin and end with the purchase, this is true of all cars however this is REALLY true for supercars! 🙂

Here is a link I found that is pretty good and will give you some idea. Bear in mind this guy left out a number of figures in his final adding up, he went for a best case as opposed to another $20,000 if things did not go so well.
