You know what I love about designers. All designers. They all think they are better than everyone else at what they do. Every single designer I have met thinks they can another person’s work and do a better job. You could take a layout that won “Best Layout in the History of Earth” by the International Designers Group and they would look at it and point out a couple things that would improve it. It’s even worse with logo designers. But it’s what drives them. Design is a personal thing and most designer are driven by what they feel is best and the client either agrees or not. What drives the next designer is going to be different and therefore other people’s designs to appeal emotionally to them as much as the originator. I get it but it’s still fun to watch. One of the most predictable things on earth. Just watch a post about layout and logos and read the comments. You will never find a fellow designer say “Wow, fantastic job”. Here is today’s list.
