DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Sunday, March 15th, 2015

Mar 15 2015

I don’t usually get star struck when I meet “famous” people but I have to admit I still get excited when someone that I respect retweets or favorites a tweet I send out.  Marc Andreeson went to school and invented Netscape aka Mosaic here in my town and I’ve followed his career through the years.  I follow him and his is a frequent tweeter and retweeter and does as good of a job of it as anyone I follow.  I sent him something the other day and he favorited it.  I realize it’s not that big of a deal.  It’s not like he’s going to ask me to be in his fantasy football league or anything but it’s nice to think he read something I wrote and enjoyed it. Hoping someday I accomplish something big enough that I give that same feeling to someone else.  Here are today’s names  The perfect business email. Give it out and they’ll remember you.  And yes, it has bids already  16 year old.  End in I, the best letter to end with  Not getting any bids even close to the value  Sexy name.  But I like the number 2 more than most  If you own you HAVE to own this one  Only one bidder.  Might end up being the best deal on the board No fours is starting to mean 4 digits  All good letters.  W for worldwide  No bidders on the 4L with double X  Biggest price on the board.   Just buy it  Ditto  P for Worldwide.  But I’m not good with acronym  Brand or the actual item.   Commercial cameras are a ton of money  My favorite name of the entire list.  Fun and remind me of Luda “Whats my name, whats my name”   There’s going to be a lot of drones.  And you know somebody is going to track them

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now  One of the better dot nets you can own.  If you’re going to be a dot net it needs to be a great product.  As popular as ever  Everyone loves the Big Pickle.  It used to be mine, now it can be yours.   12 years old. Would make a great brand and looks good on a T-Shirt  Something I’ve never been accused of.   13 years old.  Great name for a Tech company.  Pretty low reserve IMO, I know because I’m selling it  Weak name, strong brand.  Good fitness brand.  Estibot at $9600 and sold for $1800 at one point.   Doing well. I get 3D.  I’m not as excited as everyone else but I like anything that sells well and 3D names sell well Love this one.  RentADrone is taken.  I will be bidding on this one  Already getting a lot of bids.  Solid  Because a Z is so much trendier than an S  I’d rather have the letters reversed to HEXO, but that’s not what’s available….  Next bid takes it  At $1200 and met reserve

A GODADDY COUPON CODE: 99 Cent Tranfer. te99comp  I liked it because I knew a few people with this name.  But I didn’t think it would get any bids.  Has 8  Google it….I can’t believe this is a real product. Wait, yes I can. $2k Estibot.  Another product, and bedding domains have sold well historically.  15 bidders.   Under $250 and you have a good deal. But you’ve heard me say that 100 times I can’t type this out without thinking how cheap I sold my NNNN.coms.  But I was giddy when I did it so no sense looking in the rearview mirror  LNN.coms are going way over $1000 now   Same for this type  Not a bad one either  Great name for a marketing company.  Not a lot of action……..until this post
