DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Thursday 11/13/14

Escrow.com

I think people undervalue the domain used for an email address.  I don’t think people are going to pay tens of thousands of dollars for an email but many are willing to pay for few hundred to a few thousand.  To many of you that’s chicken feed and would never sell a name for that cheap but if I do.  If I got a name for under $50 and someone wants to buy it for $600 a month later.  I probably would sell.   And I have. Obviously it depends on the name but I’ll take $500 and run many times.  It really comes down to how easy I think it is to replace that stock. I realize dot coms will only get more expensive and harder to come by but I also know that the market didn’t change in the 30 days since I bought it.  Here are today’s names

Puzzlers.com  You know who they are.  You can never sit down for dinner because the dining room table always has a puzzle going. 19 years old

AmericanTire.com  Getting the high price because of it’s PR, age, and all the traffic

Outsmarted.com  Those below you were either this or outworked.  Or you work alone in a house with a cat and you are always #1.  Especially in Fluffy’s eyes

VVXV.com  A solid collectible.  Terrible acronym.  Looks like the map of my last hill run

BuyCoffee.net  If Coffee.Club is worth $100K then this is worth $12

WhatWouldYouDoForAMillionDollars.com   Long name but would be fun to find out what people would do.

Smuz.com  Good short brand.  Get 50 free visit with purchase.

5847.com  I think the opening bid is right at the real value.  Or at least you wouldn’t be overpaying too much

TheGold.com   Doing very well.  Nothing has kept it’s value over the years like The Gold.  Gold.com is a million dollar name.  This is worth at least 1% of that.

VoQa.com  Not a top tier CVCV but still under its real value IMO

HogRider.com  Most of the results are for a game Clash of Clans but also a Harley rider. Even without passes my sounds like a beer test

YogaTraining.com  Like the name but why would you even put in revenue of $2.  But hey $2 is $2 I guess

Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day. $10 off PURCHASES OF $50 OR MORE ACOSKS65

DragonsBlood.com  I thought I was the only geek to like this name.  A few others

WaterPills.com  I’m thinking of the pills that women use to get rid of water weight but some day there may actually be pills that you can take to replace water

eNetwork.com  I think of E entertainment.  Hopefully they don’t

6080.net  The kind of NNNN.net that you want to own

BrandNames.net   Exactly what I like.  Maybe I should buy it

  1. You know your original message still shows up in domaining.com, you must be really scared of this lady to edit all this out.

  2. Tom,

Not scared of Donna at all. We’ve actually made up. I took it down because the piece was being hard on Michael not Donna. Michael is a heavy promoter of his site and it gets on some people’s nerves. I decided to take it down because my words came out much meaner than my thoughts. But again, not scared of Donna. We’ve had our moments and now its passed. I think we’re good.
