I purchased my biggest and best name of my domain investing career yesterday. It was a few years in the making but all came to an end yesterday with the name in my account. It’s really an investment for my daughter as I’ve always promised my wife that I would take some of the money and put it into her college account. Instead I’m putting in a domain. I think she’ll do better with this then money in the stock market. I called a couple of friends in the industry to get some feedback and they agree. I hope we’re all right. She deserves more than Jr. College. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Here are today’s names.

Congrats Shane! Hope you didn’t break the bank with this purchase. Its tough to comment without knowing exactly the name, but keep in mind liquidity is often very tough with ultra-premium names. -@MichaelMaillet
You could not have bought a better name for your daughter than DaXue.com (大学 or university/college).
Congrats Shane. When you say it was a few years in the making, was it the selection of the name, persuading the seller to sell, negotiating over price or something else?
