DSAD.com Domain Shane’s Big List of Domains at Auction for Thursday, January 21st

Jan 21 2016

One big auction is closing today and one nice one is starting.  NamesCon/Namejet auction closes today and Sedo’s Great Domains auction starts.  Some great names are going to sell at both of them.  Good times right now.  The industry is flush with Chinese money.  And the money they are spending is going right back into the market into premium names. Everyone is winning right now.  Which is good because something has to make up for the stock market.  As much as I love $1.45 gas (what I paid yesterday).  I could buy 10,000 gallons for all the money I’ve lost over the last few weeks.  But it’s all relative because I keep investing so hopefully some things are cheap I’m buying right now.

On a personal note. I had to go out at 3:30 am yesterday to plow snow.  It was nice to get out there again and make a little snow money.  I love being out when nobody is out working. And there is something about clearing all the snow away and having it nice and clean.  Sure its not domain money but its money.  And its using equipment that normally would sit there during the winter. Add a blade and start making cash.  Every business has to have their lot cleared.  I like “has to” .   Means everyone has no choice and has to have it done.  Those are the types of business I like to be in.   Of course it means only 5 hours sleep and that “has to” be made up.  PS my hamstring feel 100% better.  The comeback has begun Here are today’s names. Click for current prices. Buy some please

SlapJaw.com  18 years old. No bidder.  I think its a great name for an app or new business.  Especially for $12

LegalQuestion.com 18 years old.  Pay by the answer

TwoDogs.com  Nice brand but you’re going to have to get 2Dogs.com as well to make it work

MYG.org  They sell, you just have to wait for someone to come along.  I’m not that patient.   And I have trouble taking money from charities.  I feel so guilty

5BY.com   I knew the day would come when the world would love these three character names.  Its here.  I hope the goods ones hit 5 figures because I have a few good ones.  Doesn’t hurt this one gets almost 3K visitors a month

WWQW.com  I knew 3 out of 4 letters being the same was good but this is doing much better than I anticipated

QQ365.com  I can see why this is getting bids

JIQA.com  Getting bids because its a semi pronounceable CVCV.com

A nice group of LLLL.nets going off today

97945.com   Solid 5N.com.  That four just keeps you with some lunch money left over.  If you eat thousand dollar lunches.

XVV.co, KZZ.co,

Prosperidad.com  “Prosperity” in English.  Prosperidad in Spanish

IJR.cc  All LLL.cc are worth $100.  OK, almost all of them

Zit.net  Reserve under $500.  Acne names make good money….or can

The Extended auction for NamesCon ends today and there are hundreds of good names.  To see all the names go HERE

Genetics.com  I’ll make one exception on the reserve thing here.  Absolutely love this name but nowhere near reserve so I probably have a chance to buy it down the road

ElectricBikes.com  Probably won’t meet reserve but closer than most of the names. Huge category and a growing category.  The kind of name you can build a whole business around

CaughtOnTape.com  An older term but everyone knows what it represents.  Berkens is retired…… my ass 🙂

281.com  NJHighBid is the Namejet High Bid.  Could be close to reserve.  Its a wide range.  The crown jewel of domains are the LL.com and NNN.coms

SocialTrends.com  No reserve.  Huge business.  Lots of companies built around tracking social trends

HokeyPokey.com  And you turn yourself around

SharedCar.com  No reserve.  More descriptive than Uber

Apine.com   A few bidders.   A 5L but also a last name which makes it worth adding at $69 IMO

Avenar.com  Means “To Drain” in Spanish.  Not sure that changes your opinion on the name or not. Just wanted to show off my Spanish skills.  No bidders.

JetCourier.com  Upgrade name for a dozen jet delivery companies

RNBA.com  Great letters for the Western market

Shroomz.com  I think Z works in the case of shrooms.  no bidders
