DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Saturday May 14th

Escrow.com

I haven’t gotten to talk to Michael Cyger and everyone who went to DN Seattle yesterday.  I know Aaron of DSAD drove over to attend because I was sent a picture late last night of him and Mike.  And a hat tip to Josh for a heck of a list yesterday.  Much better than I’ve been doing and shows I need to put more time into it the list and get more keyword names in.  No matter how long you’ve done something there is always room to improve.  On that note I took the day off yesterday to go watch my daughter try and qualify for the IL state championships.  She was favored to get in for the 2 mile but not in the mile.  She ran some incredible races and managed to come in 2nd in both and got in for both events.  Both races were personal records by a large margin.  I’m proud, not because she’s fast but because of the dedication, discipline, and hard work she’s shown to achieve those results.  You try and instill these traits in your kids and when you see them you get emotional.  It’s hard to explain if you don’t have kids but if you do, no explanation is necessary.   She’s now ranked 4 th in the state in the 2 mile and has me thinking that I may not have to pay for college at this rate. Which would be a nice savings of a few hundred thousand dollars.  We only want our kids to be happy and its nice that what would make my daughter the happiest would be to have a full scholarship on a top 10 cross country and track team.  I hope she reaches her goals because they would help mine come a little quicker as well. 🙂    Here are today’s names.    Click to see current prices

TheFilmRoom.com  No bidders. 16 years old.   Good name for a movie review of information site.  Domain is cheaper than a ticket for an IMAX with G Shock

FH.biz   Nice and short and biz works for local businesses IMO.   I would remember this if it was on the side of a van.  Of course that’s what I do for a living so don’t use me as an example

PureSpeculation.com   Buy the rumor and sell the news.   Speculation is how big money is made and lost.  Nobody speculating on the name though.  No bidders.  16 years old

BodyMend.com   Fantastic physical therapy or massage company name

MatchItUp.com    Not even sure what I’m matching but pretty happy to have another.   No bidders

ImportedRugs.com  Millions of results for these keywords and yet no bidders.  Most towns have at least one store that sells high end imported rugs

CM88.com  This one would have gotten a ton of action a few months ago.  88 is always a good investment IMO

HeadJelly.com   I don’t know what head jelly is or can be but like the name as a brand.   Can triple your money if you sell it for $50

HeliService.com  This past month I see commercials for helicopter ambulance insurance every single morning.  This is a great name for the service.  But I admit it looks like the biggest waste of money I’ve seen on television lately.

WithoutMeasure.com  119,000 backlinks.   And there are times that I think this is also how my bathroom was built. The angles seem off to me.

IWantToGoToCollege.com   Something that many take for granted.  There are a lot of kids that want to go to college but can’t afford it.  Perfect for a site to help them find a way to get there

ScrapMetalPrice.com    I look it up every week since I have a recycle dumpster that I keep and send in.  There are regional price differences but it would be nice to have a simple site with prices as a guide.  Sure its out there but this would be a better name

GolfLikeAPro.com  I would settle to just be as good as the 8th grader across the street

DataPlanning.com   Any time you get a billion results on Google when you type out the domain name you know you have a pretty solid name

GrowAndLive.com  Nice and simple though and brand.  Although I like Live and grow better but I imagine that would be a little more than $20

OpenStory.com   Nobody likes stories with boundaries

PandaHood.com   Because of the song named Panda, Pandas are now ghetto cool   Getting some bids.  “I got girls in Atlanta”

TLV.cc   The V makes this one not as fun

34X.com   Short and also my waist size.   33 when I’m in shape

TheHempNetwork.com    Sponsored by Doritos

ChronicClub.com    I can see it in Colorado.  A monthly gift box of cannabis

RXPA.com  RXGA.com LETF.com

233881.com   This would have gotten $400 plus 6 weeks ago

Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)

SBMN.com    All about the letters and this one has good one.  N for Network

Weddings.cc   One of the better .cc names you can own.    They’re always pretty cheap compared to the usability IMO

YouFuck.com   A much more direct name than YouPorn.  Thus the price

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM

Log.net     Some are thinking journal and others a piece of a tree

CollegeDrunk.com  A lot of good pictures could come out of this site.

Stingrays.com   S makes it a  sports name or a site on the fish.   Singular is a killer name

Abdomen.net  20 bidders for this one.   Everyone I’ve ever met seems to have one of these

Newfoundland.org   One of the most beautiful parts of Canada.  Right behind Evangeline Lily

Creditor.org   This dot org is getting a lot high bid.   Money makes more money than travel.

Median.net  Imagine how much the dot com would go for.   This one at 1% of that

QHHQ.com   ABBA pattern .   They have been doing well.  Anyone else like the way that Qs look in names. I know there aren’t many English words other than “quality” but they still look cool

FGFP.com   Forrest Gump Fist Pump

PerformanceLabs.com     And you don’t even need to have a lab to own this brand

Hwayi.com     Been up before.  I think Hawaii but best known for a movie of the same name

DSUD.com  Probably a HUGE amount of traffic coming from DSAD.com

ManagedHosting.com      Nice marketing or brand name for a hosting service offering exactly this.  Big CPC in hosting

988768.com    Lots of 8s and a decent amount of bidders

9799.info   These were getting bids every day.   This one doesn’t have on yet

88666888.com   Yup, First is bidding on this one

  1. Shane – if a parent is not proud and emotional about their kids accomplishments then they probably shouldn’t be a parent.

    Good job DAD

  2. Great job, young Cultra. I agree with Ken, and also think it’s a good illustration of leading by example. My 6 year old complains it’s too far to walk (not by herself) home from school. I can try and motivate her with limited success or no success with words, but I know that if I’m more active and lead by example, she’ll be significantly more likely to do it. Leading by example is a far greater communication skill.
    Nice work.
