Yesterday I put in what I thought was just a normal bid for a name on Namejet. It turned out to be a public auction that automatically puts in you as the high bid. It wasn’t my intent to bid but I figured I would put it in anyway because there was no chance that I would win it with a full day left. Nope. I won. $4K worth of oops. I think I’ll still make money on it but had I’m in saving money mode right now not buying. So far I’ve had similar things happen to me 3 past times. One was before the warning. The other two I just flew through the process not even close to paying attention. I’ve managed to make a few thousand dollars on those mistakes. On one of them I bought something for $3K by accidentally going through the motions . Even clicking the button that makes sure you know this is going to make you the high bid. Just flew through it. I put it right back up at Namejet and sold it for 40% more than I paid two weeks earlier. And yes $4K is a lot of money. I am not wealthy enough to eat $4K but its not like I bought a used fire extinguisher. I bought an asset. Assets that I think go up in value. It merely ties up my money for a little while. Here are today’s names. Click to see current prices
RG2.com 20 years old. Can’t go wrong with a LLN.com. Father of RG3

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
The only NameJet auction that ended yesterday near $4K was LLL.xyz for $4,200. Definitely worth more than a used fire extinguisher.
Tony,
Yep. That is now mine 🙂
