Domain Spotlight: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday, Feb 24th

The one thing I never imagined about writing a blog would be the often difficult technical side of running it.  Always seems to be a problem here or a problem there.  My only technical skill is knowing to put 4011 for bananas when I go through the self checkout line.  Even though wordpress has made things easier its still not easy.  I couldn’t do it without Travis’ help.  We love having Uniregistry as a partner but they understandably want things to look a certain way and our theme didn’t like their idea.  I had zero chance of getting it right.  Aaron is busy, Josh is busy cornering the market, and I grow petunias for a living.  So if this site doesn’t blow up every time you use it you can thank Travis.  Not only he a good domain investor but he has some real skills. With my understanding of the dot cc market, the cone top beer can market,  and his knowledge of Java, we should be able to conquer the world.  Look for more things to come.   Here are today’s names. Click to see current prices. Sounds like the best lab around.  And you can be the best for under $50 right now. 17 years old  17 years old.  Already the name of an electronics company and a thong.  So you know its good.  Also means “Windy” in Boston talk  Great English acronym letters.  E gives you a discount , I guess the o does as well  Ditto. These are the types of that I think have great enduser potential.  But still a good investment either way IMO   I’m going to guess all the bids are because they think its Chinese. No bids at $12.  I’m not saying you can sell this for profit.  Just saying its a pretty awesome keyword for $12.  But I guess you can get that in many TLDs now  2K backlinks.  900 visitors a month, and a PR2.  And the name is pretty memorable as well  Virtual Reality .  Eventually you’re going to be walking around the DomainShane store touching these domains off the shelf  19 years old.  I’ve realized lately that the word Cyber is still relevant.  I used to think it dated a site.  I love these names. Never sell very many but don’t have to if they’re cheap enough  Sounds like a brand bucket type name  No bidders.   I’ve heard this a few times and if I do I know somebody is mad in the house.   Really like this call to action name and  Two 14 year old LLLL.coms.   Didn’t they know back in 2002 that vowels were bad?  Geeesh  I wouldn’t put this on here but if this were a dot com it would be $3K or more,,,,,,,,,  ,     Can I interest anyone in a boat?  Much cheaper than most but it still floats   Is the CVCV negated when the C is a V?,  Only a few CHiP 6Ns today,,, ,,       The LLLL.nets keep moving every day.  Inch by inch,   I wish I would have bought more and by more I mean at least one  Same here.  Although I can at least say I almost bought a portfolio of 100 of these.  For $15 each.  I’m not sure if that makes me feel better or worse   Let’s welcome dot tv aboard the Chinese train   Letters I used to avoid like the plague.  Now I hunt them……..and dot cc.  Times change quickly  I can’t believe I am starting to list 7Ns but these great patterns are fetching more than lesser quality 6Ns,,,, , I didn’t think I could find a cheaper boat for you but these are ….or were when I posted them. Entry level LLLL.coms,,, , Some entry level 6Ns if you’d like to add a few   the next logical movement from  And the scary thing is I think it goes for more than $25   thought this was a pretty good price under $25.  IMO  When I prescanned the list I thought I could get this for $12 and sell it for $50.  Then a bidder came in and ruined my plan.  I like the look of this name

NY.VC   I really like this one and I don’t even like .vc   Renewal is a bit high ($63) so probably the reason most people are passing.  Not really a big deal if you are a venture capitalist   A nice little with a double 8  Somebody has made a nice bid for this dot org  Fantastic up and reserve is already hit  Met reserve under $1600

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM  Looks like CHiPs are starting to get bids   This one is as well  20 years old.  My Notre Dame.  Only $67,000 a year   Fantastic WHiP.  If you buy and sell you should want to own this Upgrade name for quite a few entities  We did.  We took Posh Spice,  ,,,  I really like the last two here  I only put this here because there literally is a mattress store on every corner here. Must be 15 of them  Love this one as well.  A lot of money in millions of people pretending to try and lose weight  Has the most bids on the NJ board for some reason  Even more than this one.  Will someone PLEASE buy me this for Christmas.  I will give them a shout out on the blog if they do AND I will fly out to your house and do your laundry for a week….AND cook you two dinners   I sign my emails with Thanks but this is much more professional and kind   But you know you’re going to want to look No bidders.  Sounds like a bar in Key West or a cheap rum  We have stores like Rural King and Farm and Fleet.   This sounds like the same type of store  Great looking pattern.   Nice pattern  Getting closer and closer to all CHiP being six figures
