Google recently added a new tool to their analytics program that gives even more information about what your visitors are doing. Now they’ve added how your users are navigating your website. They’re calling it In-Page Analytics
As a website builder I always want to know where my users are clicking and how they navigate my site, but I’ve until recently, I’ve been forced to add third party application to get this kind of data. Google now makes it much easier by adding click tracking to their Analytics program. With click metrics you can make better layout and content decision based on where and how often your users click links. The data is superimposed over the page and shown over each clickable element. Although still in beta, I already can see plenty of value. And you can’t beat the price. Here’s a video with more details on In-Page Analytics
