Domain Spotlight:

Anyone know if the namejet exclusive expired inventory is going somewhere else? Seems like there have been less names listed for the past several weeks. Maybe it’s just my imagination.

I watched the latest profitable flip episode the other day. I really liked the way the Sherpa, Chris, transitioned into the domain industry from other online businesses. I always like hearing those kinds of stories, the ones where the domainer just falls into the business by sort of by accident.

I also like the t-shirt business idea, I’ve always wanted to do something like that. I’ve made several shirts for work, including pink breast cancer awareness t-shirts that we wear in October.   I’ve also made shirts for special events and some funny t-shirts.

Where it breaks down for me as a business is the actual fulfillment of the orders. That’s the part I hate, and most of the time I didn’t even ship the shirts, I just had to deliver them and collect the money.

So in the spirit of tee shirt designing, I thought I’d resurrect my Shane tee. If there’s enough interest we’ll start another campaign.

This seems like a good brand for that.  This is a device that lights up and flashes, you put it behind your vehicle if you break down. 1. .
Well .. there’s been a noticeable spike in activity at GoDaddy this past week (discussed on NP) .. but given the vastness of GD’s numbers it’s hard to know if it’s because of a new power buyer and/or bot .. or simply because there are more names? I’ve certainly had more on my personal list lately .. but that also goes in waves.
Speaking of which .. I’m rather disappointed in you that today you missed the fabulous domain:
Anyhow .. you’re also missing a link for the shirt! 😉

    1. Ooops .. obviously wanted to add .. I also seem to recollect one of the registrars bouncing back and forth between GD and NJ .. originally NJ .. then to GD just like that randomly (maybe to see if they could do better or for better term) .. then back to NJ because of the TuCows purchase .. but seems I rea dsomewhere about going back to GD? Hard to be sure because that type of thing has happened quite a bit lately that it no longer makes headlines I guess?
