IKE’S LIST OF DOMAINS AT AUCTION FOR Tuesday, August 6th is at auction and currently at $110. I thought this name looked familiar so I looked through me emails. I sold it 3 years ago on Brandbucket for $2300. Looks like the business idea didn’t pan out. It made me wonder how many names sell at retail prices and and then drop or go through an expired auction within the first 5 years.

There’s no way real way to tell. Sure the sedo data is available, but the Godaddy/Afternic retail sales data isn’t, and I’m pretty sure that’s the bulk of retail sales that take place every week.

Maybe there’s a way to track it through whois changes, but I don’t know how to do it. If you could identify every name that sold at retail prices you could set up a bot to watch all those names and track them. See which ones expire and pick them back up.

While the wholesale data has value, It pales in comparison to the retail data. I want to know what actual end users are buying and not the junk that gets sold at auctions because of a valuation number, backlinks or any other domainer opinion based metrics.

Click the links for current prices, most links are commissionable and fund the operation.

I’ll have to ask Travis how to space these things easily. Every time I try I make a whole knew paragraph. A marketing name for an arcade or laser tag type venue A caddy? facial hair products a summary of what you’ve done always works Online time tracking for truckers off road vehicles

    1. Probably as well as anything out there – unfortunately, hardly any of it is retail, because that stuff is rarely reported anywhere. There just isn’t a way to know about most retail sales.
